As soon as Nathan, Isaac, and Sophia finished their dinner, they head towards the tent to sleep. However, Berenice and Hotula were escorted to the exhibit tent to be studied on. Over at the tent, Isaac tries to sleep only to be woken up from a nightmare. He glanced at both sides of the bed, and he can see Sophia and Nathan are asleep without having nightmares. He managed to go to sleep after spending a minute staring at the top part of the tent, and then he started to dream. In the dream, he was at some kind of battle five thousand years into the past. There were a group of seven people going against one man, one of them was a woman that looked familiar to him. As it turns out, it was Eleanor that was sent back in time to change the fate of the leaders of the Aquan and the Tellus.
"So you were the one who has been disrupting the elements!" The bald man (Ur- Pabilsag) called out.
The man wearing a billowing hooded cloak with splotches of colored hues meant to represent the elements and a wooden bear mask chuckled darkly.
"Indeed I am, I have come close to controlling all of the elements to achieve all power to rule the world. You all should be grateful, for I shall usher in an age where all elements are controlled by me and every magician have to obey my whims. I am Manus, the soon to be ruler of the elements" said the bear masked man in a deep yet chillingly soothing voice.
"The elements are not yours to play around! The elements are supposed to be guided by every magician throughout the world, not the likes of you!" Doris called out.
"Is there a point to this? Are you dictating your fate and destiny, o leaders of the elemental tribes?" Questioned Manus with a smirk.
The exact tone from that evil magician made Scorpion the first angry along with the leaders, as if Manus is trying to get under their skin. Then the evil magician conjured boulders and thrown it towards the leaders, only for Basselt to deflect the attack by re directing the boulders away. Then Ur- Pabilsag creates a sphere of pale yellow light and shoots beams at Manus, only for the evil magician to countered it by creating a shield from the soil. Scorpion the first forms two fire balls in both hands before combining them into a big fire ball and then thrown it at Manus, except the evil magician shot a rock at his stomach. It doesn't kill Scorpion the first, but it left him incapacitated as he groaned in pain while curling into a ball.
"Is that all you can do?" Asked Manus.
"There is, actually!" Pakal corrected, as he creates a hulking shadow construct in the form of an automaton.
The shadow automaton punched the evil magician in the face, knocking him across the field. As soon as Manus sat up, he took off his bear mask and saw blood from his mouth in a shocked expression.
"You dare spilled the blood of your ruler!? Such action cannot be forgiven! I'll make your death painful, I swear it!" Exclaimed Manus.
"If you haven't been trying to control all the elements, then we wouldn't be here" Basselt said calmly.
"Shut up! You know nothing, you sorry excuses of rulers!" He hissed.
Angered at seeing his own blood, Manus conjures a boulder and hurled it at both Doris and Pakal out of spite. Basselt jumps in front of the two and used his earth magic to shatter the boulder, but it's big pieces crushed both his feet bones and leg bones in the process.
"Basselt!" Doris and Eleanor called out.
"Don't worry about me... just focus on our enemy, he needs to be stopped" groaned Basselt, trying not to scream in pain and tears welled up in his eyes.
Doris is furious at Manus, but at the same time she felt pain from her abdomen since she is pregnant. She conjures a gush of water where Manus stood, in an effort to drown him in revenge. The evil magician tries to swim his way up to gasp for air, only for Princess Ukok to shoot him in the stomach with an arrow. Then the gush of water stopped, and Manus fell on his Back. Then all of the leaders of the elemental tribes surrounded him, wanting to finish him off.
"Don't think you have won... The elements have become very unstable, even if I am dead, they will never be stabilized on their own" said Manus as he grinned maliciously and stared at their faces with his bloodshot green eyes, indicating that he lost his mind.
"That may be, but we have already begun constructing the monuments that harnesses the power of the elements. Therefore, we might have to use them in order to stabilize the elements" said Pakal.
"Your dream of ruling this world along with the elements is all for nothing, it will never come true even if we weren't here" said Ur- Pabilsag coldly.
Manus growled, but let out a weak sounding laugh.
"If I am dead, someone will no doubt pick up where I left off. Thousands of years from now, someone shall rule the world in my stead" he said as he continued laughing.
It was up to the point that it got on Ur- Pabilsag nerves, so he stabbed the evil magician in the heart with a sword made from light. Then everyone watched as the evil magicians laughter gradually died down, breathing his last breath as his green eyes remained open and clouded.
"There, his evil shall no longer terrorize the world. We must stabilize the elements until it is too late" said Ur- Pabilsag.
Everyone nodded before leaving the corpse of Manus to rot on the ground until he is but a skeleton, since he is but a wicked magician who wanted to control the elements for himself.
At morning
Isaac woke up at the crack of dawn, panting as he wiped the cold sweat from his face. The battle that he had witnessed in his dream was very vivid, it was as if it had happened in the past. He was left wondering if the battle actually happened, or if it was a dream he had. Nevertheless, he put on his boots and left the tent to grab something to eat for breakfast.
Authors note: what do you think of the battle between the elemental alliance and Manus?
