Dami's pov:

Y/n held her tight. Never in her life, she had felt so safe. The boss seemed to not have a problem with Siyeon and it made Dami feel so relieved.

"I thought she would be angry at me for not telling her but she is cool about it." Dami thought as she breathed in the sweet scent of her boss.

After a few more moments, Y/n pulled back.

"Are you okay?" The boss asked with concern in her eyes.

"Yeah, I just feel so relieved. I thought you would hate me or push me away when you find out about my daughter." Dami admitted as she looked at the ground.

A soft hand grabbed her cheek and Dami looked up just to gaze in the most beautiful eyes she ever saw.

"Why would I push you back?" Y/n smiled.

Dami felt the heat rush to her cheeks as the butterflies danced in her belly. The tension between them seemed to rise as Y/n held intense eye contact.

"God, just lean in and kiss me," Dami begged but the boss pulled her hand back.

"I need your help, Yubin. Can you make everyone come to the canteen in let's say an hour? I need to tell them something." Y/n immediately got back to business.

"Sure, boss," Dami said, brushing the tears away from her face.

"Good, I see you in an hour." Y/n smiled and turned around.

"Why can't I just confess to you? Why do you make me feel so weak?" Dami thought as she watched Y/n walk down the hallway.

She couldn't stop herself from letting her gaze wander down to Y/n perfectly shaped butt.

"So fucking hot," Dami mumbled.

An hour later:

Y/n's pov:

It was time to meet the others in the canteen. As always you weren't nervous to speak in front of many people so you just stepped into the large room. The conversations immediately shut down as you walked to the middle of the room. All eyes were on you.

"I'm glad that all of you are here. I just want to say that I think t would be best if you go home. It is just a matter of time until they close the bridges. I know a lot of you live on the other side of the city. Just work from home for a few days and come back to the company when the weather gets better. That is all. Thank you and take care on your way home." You said with a strong voice.

You bowed a little before you left. As soon as you stepped out of the canteen someone grabbed your arm. You turned around to face Dami.

"Was that a good decision?" She asked. "Statistics say that people who work from home are more likely to get distracted."

"The weather is crazy right now and if I force them to stay in they will for sure have to spend the next few nights in a hotel because they cannot go home. I can't let that happen." You smiled.

"But that could mean that your company losses." Your secretary sounded concerned.

"Go home Yubin and don't worry. The company will not get bankrupt." You laid your hand on her shoulder and she looked deep into your eyes.

Her beautiful brow orbs glittered a little in the light, making your belly fill with butterflies. Before you left you gave her a sweet smile.

In the evening:

Y/n's pov:

The TV in your office showed the weather channel of the city. On the screen were firemen and police who were in the middle of closing the bridges. The water level was just a meter below the massive mall. It was just too dangerous to cross the bridges now. An expert told everyone that watched the weather channel that it could be possible that the water had damaged the pillars under the bridge.
