Rachel followed Piper into her office. She saw the brown haired woman pacing back and forth as she held her wand in her hand. "What am I gonna do?" She mumbled to herself.
"Piper! What's going on?" Rachel asked as soon as she entered the principal's office.
The sudden question made the older woman jump. She looked around frantically, as if she expected someone else to appear. "It seems that their fight has caused that bird monster to appear. I'm afraid for the students' safety." She said slowly, still looking around the room frantically. "If only it ended with the tickle attack! Then none of this would've happened."
"Don't worry. I know that laughler will be defeated. Then we can take Perrine with us." Rachel responded with a smile.
"NO!" Piper yelled before covering her mouth. "I mean. It may be best to keep her here so that nothing else happens here." She said as she slowly revealed her mouth again.
"But why? You promised her that she could go. Why go back on your word?" Rachel asked as she took a step forward. As soon as she finished, Perrine ran into the room. She stopped right beside the redhead, taking in a few deep breaths as she did so.
"You! I wouldn't have to be in this mess if you just lost!" Piper said, raising her voice the longer she spoke. "If only you let that spell beat you like IT SHOULD'VE!"
"What do you mean? I fought and won on my own! I earned the right to leave if I wish!" Perrine yelled as she looked up at her principal.
"You aren't supposed to leave! People born on this floor aren't supposed to leave!" The red robbed woman said as she took out her wand and pointed it at the woman.
Before she could say anything, Rachel quickly pushed the magician out of the way just before Piper flicked her wrist. Moments later, the red haired woman was sent flying into the wall behind them. "Rachel!" Perrine yelled as she turned to face her fallen companion. Her eyes stared as the person that helped her till then laid on the ground. Seconds slowly passed by before the brown haired woman took out her wand and turned to face her principal. "Why would you do this?!" She yelled, glaring at her principal.
"Sorry, but I need to make sure they don't punish me." The older woman said as she pointed her wand at Perrine and flicked her wrist. The younger student quickly flicked her wrist in the opposing direction, causing a large spark to fly next to her. "I see you know how to counter."
"Not hard when you spend three years in the same classes." Perrine responded as she swiped her wand horizontally in front of her. Her opponent immediately swiped her wand upwards, causing another couple sparks to fly just above the older woman. "So what's the purpose of keeping us here?"
"Keeping me safe! And I'm willing to do anything to accomplish that!" Piper yelled back as she waved her wand again. Perrine immediately swiped her wand back, causing more sparks to fly in front of her. "You wouldn't understand unless you've gone through what I went through!"
"Then explain why keeping us here keeps you safe! Safe from what? Those monsters?" Perrine asked as she sent another spell towards the principal who countered it, causing more sparks to fly in front of her.
"Not those monsters! They're nothing for me to worry about! One spell and I can send it back!" Piper admitted. Moments later, her eyes widened as she realized what she admitted. She stared at Perrine who stared back in shock. Her hand quickly swiped to the left, launching the chubbier woman into the wall. While the two younger woman slowly got back to their feet, Piper ran out of the room, teleporting away into the crowd again.
"After her!" Rachel said as her and Perrine slowly ran out of the principal's office and back into the crowd of people. The two of them watched the portals, barely noticing someone running into another portal from the cheering crowd. "Over there!" Rachel yelled as she began to push her way through the crowd.
Before they pushed too many people out of the way, Perrine pulled her red haired companion behind her. "Out of my way!" She yelled as she flicked the wand in front of her, forcing everyone in front of her to be pushed to her right. As soon as the path was made, the two of them ran over to the portal and entered it.
The two of them found themselves in the staircase that took them to the way up earlier. "Down there!" Perrine yelled as they saw Piper running down the staircase.
"Got it!" Rachel said as she quickly took off her cloak before running down the stairs. Her legs carried her down, letting her slowly catch up to the principal. As she ran, she could see Perrine falling down the gap in the center of the room. "PERRINE!" She called out to the brown haired woman while watching from the railing.
Moments later, the magician pointed her wand away from Piper, launching herself in the direction. She barely landed on her feet as she stared at the principal, glaring at her. "You're not getting away!" She said as she pointed her wand at the older woman. The brown haired woman tightened the bottom of her wand before taking a step back. When she did, she heard a set of footsteps rush up behind her. Her head turned around, noticing Rachel rushing up to her.
"I won't let you leave!" She said as she jumped at the older woman, slashing down. Piper jumped out of the way, holding her wand in front of her as she stared down the other two. "I heard what you said! You control the laughler, don't you!"
"I won't be answering that." Piper replied as she flicked her wrist. Perrine quickly responded with a flick of her own, causing sparks to form in front of Rachel. As soon as the sparks disappeared, the redhead charged forward. She held her dagger in front of her, swinging when she was close enough. The older woman swiped her wand upwards, causing Rachel's arm to swing just above Piper's head.
Without missing a beat, Rachel quickly grabbed hold of the robe and threw the woman onto the ground. Piper let out a gasp as the wind was knocked out of her. Her head against the wall as the wand limply rested in her hands. "What should we do with her?" Perrine asked as she walked up to them.
"I know one thing that could get her to talk." Rachel said as she began to straddle the brown haired woman's hips. Moments later, she wiggled her fingers in front of Piper teasingly. This caused the older woman's eyes to widen. Her grip on her wand tightened as she pointed it at Perrine. By the time the magician noticed, her body was already being launched back into the stone railing.
"PERRINE!" Rachel yelled back. She watched as Perrine was slowly looking up. When the redhead turned back to Piper, she was met with the wand pointed directly at her face. The next moment, her body was launched back, hitting the underside of the stairs above them. The older woman slowly stood to her feet before running off towards the railing. Before she got to it, a sudden weight was put on her shoulders. Her head looked up, noticing that Rachel wasn't above them anymore. "Going somewhere?" The redhead asked in frustration.
Without saying a single word, the principal pointed her wand to the ground. Suddenly, the two of them were blown away from each other by a small explosion. Rachel was blasted into the wall while Piper was blown off the edge.
As the two of them were separated, Perrine stood up. She took a glance at Rachel, who was picking herself back up, before looking over the edge. Her eyes noticed Piper facing them as she fell into the abyss under them. As she did, Rachel quickly jumped over the railing, falling towards the brown haired woman. "RACHEL!" Perrine yelled.
As the two fell, Piper flicked her wrist, causing the redhead to be launched towards the staircase. Perrine gritted her teeth as she pointed her wand at Piper. As she did, she saw the principal point the wand at herself. Just as the magician raised her wand, an explosion occurred where the principal was. The next thing that Perrine saw was Piper's wand floating in front of her, covered in a pink liquid. Her eyes widened as she slowly took hold of it. Her sight went back over the railing, noticing that Piper's body was nowhere to be seen.
