“Seems I created two failures. Unfortunate.” Mother said as she stood up from her chair. The four of them turned to the blonde, watching as she took a few steps closer to them. “What do you have to say for yourselves?” She asked.
“Why did you make this tower in the first place?” Rachel asked. As she did, She took a couple steps forward while glaring at the blonde woman.
“Is that really what you want to know?” Mother responded with a questioning look. Rachel nodded, causing the blonde to sigh. “The tower is nothing more than something for us to live in. It has everything we need, but people wanted out of this place. So, I created the laughler and spread them throughout the floors. Anywhere with a massive amount of population is safe, but the closer to the exit, the tighter the security.” She explained.
“What about the 4 shapeshifters?” Alice asked.
“Something to keep the highest floors under control. They weren't meant to be killed.” Mother responded while gritting her teeth. “But, you all did impress me by making it this far. It's a shame I'll need to take care of you.” She added just before throwing off her shirt, revealing multiple marks similar to Cleave's, Shade's, and Wind's. The marks covered all over her body while a bra covered her chest. Slowly, the woman took out a knife from her back pocket.
Rachel was the first to run in. She swung at the woman with her daggers, forcing Mother to step out of the way. The blonde woman kept dodging effortlessly out of the way. The redhead gritted her teeth as she swiped at the blonde over and over again. After a few slashes, Mother kicked the village woman in the chest. The force knocked Rachel to the floor.
Alice and Zac immediately capitalized on the opportunity. They both flanked Mother, Alice with her sword and Zac with his hand that turned into a sword. They slashed at the blonde woman, who ducked below their weapons. As soon as she knew she was safe, Mother slashed at Zac's leg, causing the man to wince and take a step back. Alice immediately attacked the blonde woman again, forcing Mother to roll away.
After she rolled away, Perrine flicked her wand up. Suddenly, the floor under Mother began to rise. The blonde looked over at the magician before smiling. She threw her knife at Perrine. However, Rachel managed to intercept the flying knife. She used her daggers to deflect the knife, causing it to fall to the ground.
Mother immediately jumped off the rising column. She landed in front of Alice who was gritting her teeth. The black haired woman had her sword at eye level, pointing directly at Mother. Moments later, Alice charged directly at the blonde woman. Despite moving her head out of the way, Mother's shoulder was stabbed with the blade. The blonde woman winced while her hand went to her bleeding shoulder. Meanwhile, the older woman stopped in front of her opponent. “Last chance.” Alice said before kicking the woman to the floor.
Perrine immediately made cuffs from the floor, trapping Mother as she winced from the pain. The four of them surrounded the trapped woman, looking over the marks that she had. “We should force her to surrender before she recovers.” Perrine said softly.
“Then we know what we need to do.” Alice said as she took her sword out of Mother. The blonde woman let out a cry of pain before glaring at the party over her. She watched as Alice went to her side and began squeezing away at one of the marks on her sides.
As soon as she did, a small smile formed on Mother's face. Her body moved away from the squeezing hand. Immediately after, a whine escaped the blonde's lips. She looked up at them, smiling slightly as Alice kept squeezing away at her mark.
Perrine joined in after a few seconds, wiggling her fingers all over another mark that was on Mother's stomach. The blonde woman's smile only grew as she sucked in her tummy. Her head began to shake as she refused to laugh.
