The three of them began feeling the wall as they reached the top of the staircase. What awaited them was a pitch black room with no light whatsoever. "Why is it so dark?" Rachel asked as she began to feel her way along the walls.

"Just look for a light or a way out. We can figure out what's going on with this floor afterwards." Alice said as she felt around as well. "Just don't trip over each other."

The three of them felt around the room, walking along the wall in darkness. It wasn't until Zac found a handle. "I think I found it!" He said before pulling the door with all his might. Slowly, the old wooden door opened up, filling the room with light. Alice and Rachel shielded their eyes, slowly adjusting to the bright light.

About a minute later, the three of them slowly walked out of the room. Their eyes gazed upon a vast room with multiple different doorways. They saw multiple people wearing different colored cloaks walking through the doorways, disappearing moments later. "This place feels like it's not real." Rachel said as she stared in awe.

"Even so, we should get info." Alice said as she began to walk up to one of the cloaked people. "Excuse me." She said as she held a hand out. When the cloaked person saw her, they immediately ran to their doorway and disappeared. "Okay that didn't go as planned."

"You gotta have more finesse." Rachel said in a cocky tone as she skipped in front of another cloaked person. "Excuse me, could you help me out." She asked, giving them her best innocent face. However, the cloaked person immediately turned around and ran off to another doorway. "Well that backfired." She said as she returned to the other two.

Zac looked at the people around him. Slowly, he walked up to one with a red cloak, shyly standing by her. "Um… excuse me." He asked the bigger person. The person jumped a little, looking at Zac before taking a deep breath. The black haired man breathed a sigh of relief. "Can you help us? We're new to this floor." He asked slowly and softly.

"I can take you to the principal. He helps everyone." They heard a feminine voice said from within the cloak. Zac turned to the other two, who gave him a smile before nodding. "Then follow me." She said not too long after before walking towards one of the doorways. The other three followed behind her, stopping after the red cloaked woman disappeared.

"Do you think it's safe?" Zac asked as he stood in front of the portal.

"I'll go through. You guys wait a minute before going through yourself, okay?" Alice said as she walked in front of the group. "Just make sure to run if you see trouble." She said before disappearing through the portal.

Rachel sighed as she stood next to Zac. "I mean I get why she said that, but still. Could be better with the three of us instead of just by herself." She complained as she turned to people watching again. Zac could only pace back and forth in front of the portal, mumbling to himself as he did so. Rachel would occasionally glance at him, tapping her foot on the ground as she did. "What are you mumbling about?"

"How much time we have until we go through." He immediately replied, not even stopping to look at her.

Rachel turned around, giving him a confused look. "Listen, if you're that worried, why don't we just go through. It's probably been about a minute." She said as she walked up to the portal. "Cmon. I'll go with you."

The black haired man took a deep breath before walking up to the portal. "Ya. Let's go." He said. The two of them immediately walked through the door, being blinded by light. When their vision cleared up, they saw the cloaked woman and Alice waiting for them in a small hallway. Before them was a golden door with multiple symbols engraved on it. "What is this place?"

"The principal's room." The cloaked woman said before taking out a wand from the sleeve of her cloak. She waved it in front of the door, causing it to open. "Please follow me and don't speak." She said in a low tone before walking through the golden doors. The other three followed her, making their way up a golden staircase.
