The pirates constantly banged on the captain's door. A crowd was behind the door with their swords raised. "Open up!" One of them demanded as another pushed on it.
"It's not budging!" The one pushing shouted as he kept putting his weight against the door.
"Break it then!" A third chimed in, raising his fishbone sword into the air.
"I'd much rather not piss off the captain." The first said as he turned to the third.
"Then allow me!" They heard a woman say from the other side. The next thing they knew, the door flew off the hinges. The crowd was blasted away with wooden debris all over the deck. Slowly, the party of four walked out of the captain's quarters. The crowd of pirates looked up at them to see Perrine wave her wand to the side. Suddenly, all the pirates were sent flying off the ship. "That should take care of them." The magician said as she noticed a few swords laying on the deck.
"I can't help but feel bad about sending them to their deaths." Zac said as he walked up to a couple swords, handing them to Alice and Rachel.
"Don't forget the plan. We all agreed this was for the best." Alice said as she held the new fishbone sword in her hands.
"I know. I guess I just feel guilty." Zac said as he took out his own dagger.
"Don't worry. We still have one more that needs to be thrown into the ocean." Rachel said as she swung the sword through the air a couple times.
"I wonder who that would be." They heard someone say from behind them. The four of them turned around. Their eyes fixated on Pordio as he pulled out his own sword. "Now, who do I need to throw into the ocean?"
"The only one going for a swim is you." Alice yelled as she charged towards the captain. The muscular captain took a few steps back, holding his sword in front of him. When the two weapons made contact, Pordio quickly pushed back, forcing the warrior to miss her slash.
His eyes quickly darted to the side, noticing Rachel preparing her own horizontal slash. On his other side was Zac with his dagger, preparing his own attack. Without missing a beat, he jumped above their swipes, causing them to attack the air right in front of them.
When Pordio landed, he immediately went for a slash at Rachel. As he did, he noticed Zac going for his back at the same time. Without any hesitation, he swiped his sword downwards. Rachel quickly put her sword up, but they didn't lock blades. Instead, the pirate forced his sword to slide along the redhead's. His legs swiftly turned him around, intercepting Zac's attack. He quickly deflected the black haired man's blade before kicking him away.
Before he was able to turn around, he heard the sound of water moving to his left. He quickly looked over to see a tentacle made out of water darting towards his position. Moments later, Pordio dashed away from the two of them, running along the deck of the ship. As he ran, he turned his gaze towards Perrine. Her arms followed behind him, leading the water to him with her wand.
Slowly, he turned his body towards the magician. However, before he could get close to the woman, Rachel swiped at his head. Pordio quickly deflected the attack, turning his attention to the redhead that was keeping up with him. "Sorry, but you aren't getting any closer." She said as she began to wildly slash at him.
The pirate struggled in his situation. Forced to stay ahead from the water, having to look to see where he was going, and the fact that someone was attacking him constantly made it difficult to focus on the magician that forced him into this position. Slowly, he began to push back against the village woman, causing her to take more time between swings. The more he pushed, the more Rachel was forced back so that she wasn't hurt.
