"Why aren't in you a dorm or an apartment?" I asked rather curious once Simone and Mason entered my living room.

"Well I signed up for a dorm too late. They only have the hotel rooms available, yet getting over here is such a hassle because I will not be able to get together with teachers for office hours in enough time, or other little instances like that," Mason said standing behind the couch with Simone laying down.

"Where did you stay last night?"

"With Simone but we almost got caught." Mason stated and shivered.

"Hmmm," I started thinking in my head.

"Well... I will allow you to stay here for tonight. But tomorrow you will make arrangements with the housing committee. And if they lie and say they have no more rooms then hit me up and I can deal with them," I told him.

"Yay! Now that that is over with, I'll bring in Mason's bag from the car then be on my way," Simone said getting up.

"Wait, I can get it," Mason said heading out first.Simone laid back down.

"Mason's drives?" I questioned in wonder.

"Shoot! He doesn't have the keys, thanks," Simone replied and quickly left.

I laughed and then went to my room to get blankets and sheets for Mason, texting my roommates that he would be spending the night on the couch.

I left the sheets and blankets out then left a note telling him to lock the door and turn off all of the lights except the kitchen one. All of my suitemates we out for some apparent reason. I checked to make sure that the door was unlocked and then headed to my room to pick out my pjs. Afterwards I went to take a shower. Now I was a shower in the morning type of gal, but just recently I thought to give a shower at night a chance. I still took a shower in the morning because without one I felt dirty during the day after I woke up. But taking a shower at night is refreshing. I see the perks to taking one. Plus, I feel clean once I hop in the bed after showering. Once I was done and changed into my pjs and then checked to see if Mason was in yet. He still wasn't so I went back into my room, turned off the lights and fell asleep.

I woke up feeling happy and in a good mood. Good dreams did that to folks. I walked out of my room about to take a shower when I noticed that Mason and Khalil were watching the news. I did a double take. Say what. Why is Khalil in my room and what is Mason doing just chilling? Shouldn't he be getting ready for class?

"Um guys? What's going on?" I questioned crossing my arms over my chest and raising my right eyebrow.

With their eyes glued to the screen they gave a lazy reply of "Hey."

I shook my head at them in disbelief."Aye! Fellas, what's up?" I snapped my fingers in their direction to snap them out of the t.v. trance.

"Oh hey, we're just watching the news. Khalil is waiting for you to be ready so that you two can get to class. I'm about to get ready after I find out the weather," Mason replied glancing up at me for a quick second before averting his attention back to the screen.

"Ohhhh...kayyyy," I said then went to starting my daily morning routine in the bathroom.Once I was all cleaned up and dressed to go, I approached the boys to see if they would engage in conversation this time.

They both were talking and then looked at me once I entered the living room.

"Hey, you're ready? Want to hit breakfast up at the caf or find some place to eat?" Khalil questioned standing up from the caf.I raised an eyebrow up at him.

"Hmmm, I don't know. Should I tell Jackie that we're going out on a date or should you?" I asked a bit unnerved by last night's events.

"First of all, I should be apologizing for that. We're not dating. And for the record, why aren't you mad at Aseem and Tamesha who are in fact truly dating secretly? Explain that," Khalil said defiantely.

"First of all, I don't want to fight in front of company. But I will have you know that it is different with them two. I have no past history with Aseem and you certainly don't see us going out on dates. If they wanted to keep it a secret then so be it. Just don't have them act unfaithfully, like a certain someone," I replied stalking to the door.

"Bye Mason, have a great day and I am sorry you had to witnessed that," once I bid farewell, I slightly slammed the door behind me.Khalil of course caught up to me in no time.

"Listen, I am sorry that I lied and said that I was dating Jackie. But it was a lie, so please don't for a second think that me taking you out to eat is an unfaithful deed. I just said that to get the gang off of my back with the whole were we dating aspect," Khalil said walking along my side.

"Why couldn't you have just texted me that before I walked to the table clueless," I asked squinting my eyes at him. We had reached the second floor and I paused for a second to squint at him then proceeded to walk down the stairs.

"I don't know. Figured that you knew me best and could tell that I was lying and wanted you to tag along. I am sorry if for even a second you felt like a 'side-chick' in this whole ordeal. You should know me better than that." Khalil said once we were finally at the bottom of the stairs.

"I guess," I replied and walked over to my car."Wait let's take mine. I want to drive. Plus I drove here," Khalil said stopping me from going further towards my car.

"Sure,"I shrugged.I walked to the shotgun seat while Khalil walked to the driver side of the car.He stopped the process of getting in the car to look at me from slightly above the roof of his car.

"Remember, even back in middle school when our friends thought it would be a good idea for us to be a couple although at the time we hated each other, I was still faithful to you. Plus I would never go after one of your friends unless I truly feel like she may be 'the one'. And even then I would talk to you about it first." Khalil stated then proceeded to enter his car.

"Now you didn't answer the question... where would you like to eat?" Khalil cocked an eyebrow at me awaiting my reply once I was settled in the car.
