Here is supposed to be the last Thursday's update

I opened the door to be greeted by a smiling Hye-su and Jesús.

"Hey you guys! Wait aren't you supposed to be meeting up with the boys over at Khalil's place Jesús?" my joyous smile was quickly formed into a confused frown.

"I guess you didn't check the group me," Katerina said getting up from off of the couch and giving me a pointed look.

I pulled out my phone from my purse, and sure enough in Awesome Sauce group me, there was a message to Katerina from Lauren telling her that everyone, including Khalil's friends, would be at her apartment for a little pre-game before the party night started.

"Ah, you're right," I said smiling lifting my head from my phone then putting it away in my bag.

"But Janiece, I thought you don't drink?" Hye-su questioned me.

I smiled, "No, I didn't come here to pre-game. I came here to take pictures."

"¡Claro! That makes so much more sense," Jesús chuckled.

I grinned. I am famous for going to parties completely sober but having the time of my life. I don't condone drinking. I feel as though, if I can have a good time then why would I need to drink. I want to create lasting memories in college. I can't do that drunk because I won't be able to remember anything drunk. Plus I like to know that there will always be a designated driver to and from whatever location we are going to.

I'm just glad once people realized that I was serious about staying sober, they did not push the subject too much. You knew who your real friends were if they accepted you the way you were and do not peer pressure you to do anything you're not comfortable with due to your beliefs... well unless they did something to benefit you. Then it was helpful that they got you out of your comfort zone. Let's say for instance you were shy, but you wanted to be a therapist because your passion was to help people overcome whatever mental struggles they were going through. That was when a good friend will help you step out of your comfort zone and get you to talk and interact with strangers more. Always in a distance, watching out for you if anything were to go wrong.

I was pulled out of my thoughts by a knock on the door. Before I could open the door, Katerina opened the door and let in Lauren.

"Hey guys," Lauren said entering the place like she owned it.

I chuckled as she came near me to give me a hug.

"You look nice," she told me.

"So do you, love what you did to your hair," I replied observing that she had blown out and straightened her hair for tonight.

"Thanks," she grinned then turned her attention to Hye-su and Jesús.

I tuned out everyone as I went to go outside since I was so restless. My friends were used to me jumping around, going about every which way and that because I am super impatient. When would everyone get here? I couldn't wait to start my night already. It was the first weekend of our sophomore year for goodness sake! Not my fault I had so much homework that I couldn't make it to last night's turn up.

I took out my phone and went to soundcloud, an app that allowed you to listen to different songs, mostly remixes by other people who have that app. I listened to my hyped playlist and was so engrossed in the music that I started dancing around. The current song that was playing was called "Can't Sleep" and it was Vanic and K.Flay who created such an awesome remix to the song uploaded on trapcity (not that the original song wasn't great. In fact it was also great and it had an awesome parkour video that went along with the song). I twirled around in my skirt as it flowed nicely. I spread out my arms to increase inertia to slow myself down. Didn't want to get too dizzy. I tried to imitate Indian dance movements and incorporate ballet movements that I thought would work really well with the song.
