2nd POV

"So, how long have you been a leader for these guys?" You asked Bakugo.

The two of you spent the entire day talking and catching after everything that's happened to the two of you. After the meeting and talking to Mei about your costume adjustments, Kirishima decided to let Bakugo have the day off from being a leader and just spend time with you to regain the joy he once lost. But seeing you.. hell, never lose it again. You each told each other your experiences that you both had, including your perspectives, but you tried to keep some details out to ensure that he didn't get worried. Fortunately for you, he has always been worried ever since that day you were put into a coma. He had never stopped thinking about you.

"Lost count." He chuckles before looking at you with a small smile, "How long have you been awake from your coma?"

"Lost count." You mocked his answer before giggling.

He playfully rolled his eyes and said as he looked out at the red sky, "..I missed hearing your laugh. Brings back memories."

"Is my laugh all that you missed?" I raised a brow and smiled at him, "Come on, now."

The two of you stood together on the rooftop of his tower, watching the very faint sun setting in the horizon. It held a very calm and dim glow for the perfect setting for the two of you.

"Okay, fine." He says before he wrapped his arm around your waist and pulled you close to him from the side and said, "..I missed you entirely."

"Knew it." You said with a cocky smirk before he chuckled again.

"Hmph, oh yeah? And what about you, rookie? Huh?" He gives you his signature grin and says, "You must've missed me a lot too while you were out there in the wild."

You looked out into the horizon before your smile slowly faded. You hummed in response and turned your head away, "..It's been tough. But yeah. I missed you the most."

He noticed the sudden change in your behavior, and he sighed. He knew that you two can't talk too casually like nothing happened. This isn't the past anymore. He can't bring back those school days that you two had. He can only work with what he's got. And that's right now. He did think of a few things. What happened to you when you were captured by Midoriya? And how did Dabi manage to find your location to send those goons after you? There were a lot of questions he wanted to ask. But.. he knew that you've already been through enough. This wasn't really the time to ask what happened.

After a moment of silence, you spoke, ".. Don't blame yourself for what happened to me."

He snapped back to reality and looked at you with slight wide eyes, "What?"

You took a quick glance at him before looking back at the horizon, "I don't want you to blame yourself for what happened to me. The coma."

A heavy lump of guilt filled into his chest. He looked at you with worry and frustration, "How can you say that when you don't remember what happened or what made it lead it all to it? I could've killed you."

"But you didn't." You said as you stared out the piles of a ruined city. Your tone was very calm. And it was scaring him, "I'm still here, aren't I?"

He shook his head and crossed his arms, "Don't do that."

"Do what?" You asked him.

"That." He said more sternly, "Don't try to act so high and mighty with me and move on like nothing happened. You can't forgive me that easily."

"I didn't say that I forgive you." You said to him, "But.. I can't make a big deal of it if I don't know what happened."

"You're still trying to act high and mighty." He says in a scolding tone.
