Me: soooo my twin sister and I were separated at birth... And i had no idea she existed until she hired this private detective who tried to find me. Turns out, she moved to America so that her drug dealing boyfriend could get away from the police after he shot a guy this one time, but the detective is the shit cuz he found me anyway and now I'm moving in with them!!! I can probably get some of the cash from his weed money (he grows it in the garden) :D

Me: no okay so my best friend from high school moved to America and now she asked me to move in with her. She has an art exhibit opening soon and she's promised that she'd also feature some of my artwork to get me noticed :) yeah that's why I'm going
