Lyla POV : Earlier That Day

Dolohov just left us after the earth shattering revelation that was delivered and now we are all alone glaring hatefully at the redheaded asshole who put us in this situation. It bewilders me that someone can be this selfish, this hateful, this...evil to the people he calls his friends. With friends like him, who in the living hell would need enemies?

"I always knew you were a bastard," Draco tells him. I see the blonde man glaring daggers at the asshole and I almost shudder at the force of it. If looks could kill, Ronald Weasley would be well on his way to hell.

"This is a new low for you, which is saying a lot," Neville adds. His own look mirrors Draco and it's one I've never seen on the usually levelheaded man's face. It's no secret that Neville is perhaps the most rational and thoughtful of us so to see him downright hate Ronald Weasley is something out of the ordinary.

"I can't believe I'm related to you," Ginny says in her piece. Unlike Draco and Neville, though, she's actually fighting agaisnt her restraints. I let myself smile knowing that she might not even be trying to escape to let us all out, no, she's trying to escape to get her hands on her dimwitted brother.

"Enough, we have to stay focused til Harry gets here," I feel compelled to say to my team and Ginny who are much more concerned with hurting Ron than preparing for a battle.

"What's the use, Lyla? Even if he gets here, we're still wandless," Draco replies to me after finally breaking his hateful gaze from Ronald. I look at him in response and try to reassure him, "I'm sure Boss will handle it."

I'm not actually sure how Boss plans to handle it but we're about to find out.

Ronald has remained silent through all of this and I'm secretly grateful but also surprised. From the stories I've heard of him, he was always the least effective of the trio and the dumbest so I figured he wouldn't be able to read the room. Luckily for us, he has. There still remains the problem of what we're going to do with him once we're free.

"Can we play a game?" Luna speaks up for the first time.

The scene is quite funny when we all slowly turn to her at the same time with bewildered looks on our faces. As part of our team, we've come to expect this from Luna but it is still amusing nonetheless.

"We're going to be here until Harry wakes up, we might as well pass the time," she dreamily adds. We all snort in response because her logic is sound even if the situation isn't exactly the best.

"I was having fun bashing Weasel over there," Draco says and is immediately met with raucous agreement from Neville and Ginny.

"Well we can't keep doing that, he's not worth it," I say in as placating a tone I can assemble. I can feel the hate coming from just about everyone in the room and it's all directed to one person.

"You're right, he isn't," Hermione finally spoke up. Her voice commanded our attention so we're now looking at her while her stare at Ron collectively give us chills up our spine. "We'll deal with him after Harry gets us out here but let me make one thing clear to him, the minute I'm out of these chains, the ring comes off. Wizarding world be damned."

Ouch, that's as much as saying the marriage is over. Well, in hindsight, it was over once the asshole told us he lied to her and used her memory loss to steal her away from Boss. In some strange way, I never expected all of this but I'm still not surprised. Now I know for sure something I've suspected, that Boss was completely in love with Hermione Weas—Granger. I also now know, but this one I just figured out three days ago, that Hermione was in love with Boss. It was truly an epic love story, or what should have been had it not been for a meddling and jealous redhead.
