It has been three weeks since Weiss first arrived on the farm, the Abernathys were a bit wary of her at first but they quickly realized that weiss was someone who would not cause them harm. She was able to keep up her "Caravan entertainer" backstory by performing songs for the family during dinner when they had time, Mary was surprised at how good Weiss's singing was and wondered if she was actually some sort of entertainer. The Abernathys were a simple family, they were kind to strangers and lively when they were all together.

She helped in cooking, which to her surprise, she was actually good at, she would never in a million years say that her favorite food was radroach, but
Mrs. Abernathy made a really good soup out of the giant pests, and Weiss had to begrudgingly admit that it was actually good, she even found herself eating roasted bloatfly, Mrs, Abernathy must be using some sort of magic to make these ingredients not only edible but also really good.

Weiss was also able to learn a bit more about the history of the world during her stay so far, she knew that the state of this place was horrible but it was worse than she thought, it wasn't just this place that was like this, it was the whole world. A world destroyed by war and greed, most of Remnant was also destroyed just like this world, if it wasn't for the four kingdoms, then Remnant would have also looked like this, minus the radiation.

But despite all the depressing information that Weiss has gained, she was also glad that people were now starting to rebuild, it gave her hope and enthusiasm. She was still sad that she couldn't go home yet but she already promised herself that she wouldn't give up no matter what.

After three weeks of rest, her injuries were now fully healed, Mary said that all her injuries could have been healed instantly if they had used two or three stimpaks but apparently, they were really expensive so they could only spare her one and she had to heal her remaining injuries the good old fashion way.

Right now, Weiss was taking a morning walk around the farm to stretch out her legs and make sure nothing was wrong with her limbs, she was currently wearing a pair of hoodie and pants made from brahmin skin as her old clothes were ripped and tattered.

"Okay, looks like my body is all healed up now, its about time I try it."

Weiss planned to try and regain her aura today. She started with some light breathing and the once she felt ready, she looked deep inside herself and tried to draw out her aura.

At first it was empty, normally at this point in the exercise, she would have already felt the blaring presence of her aura but today, she did not feel anything. This was not surprising to Weiss, she had lost her aura afterall, so instead of dwelling on why there was no aura she instead focused on trying to get it back. Weiss concentrated harder, she looked even deeper in herself, deeper and deeper until she found it, her soul, the source of her aura.  Weiss saw her soul as pure white and was manifesting  light blue aura around it.

"So I do still have aura, it's just too weak to manifest itself physically."

Weiss was relieved, she expected her soul to go back to a  state where it never awoken aura. This world didn't have aura and there was definitely no one who can awaken it for her again, so despite seeing her aura in such a weakened state, at least it wasn't gone.
All she had to do now was somehow expand it.

Weiss tried reaching for  her aura, forcing it to grow and expand, she kept on trying and trying but no matter how hard she willed it, it just would not expand. It was like staring into a well, she could see the water but could never reach it no matter how hard she tried.

Weiss was already mentally tired and gave up for the time being, her consciousness went back to reality and she imediately let go of a breath she was apparently holding.
