Open Up!

Luke fastened the straps on Josh's bulletproof vest, moments like these always made him worry for his boyfriend. Josh gave him a smile and patted him on the cheek.

"I'll be fine. Plus, I doubt there will be any gun play"

Luke sighed and nodded.

"Let's hope you're right"

They went down the stairs to the foyer of the police station. Wendy was with some officers laying out the plan for the bust they're about to get into.

"I want ten officers in the back, ten in the front and the rest around the block. I want Liam left with no room to run. Got it?"

"Yes ma'am!"

"Let's move out"

She turned to Luke and Josh then heaved out a sigh while adjusting the bulletproof vest on her torso.

"Be careful you two, let's get this fucker and bring him down"

Luke gave her a curt nod.

"We got it"

Liam's black porche was left on idle in the school parking lot. He rushed inside and was met with a receptionist.

"How may I help you sir?" She asked, her hair was black but her eyes were a dull red shade.

"I'm looking for my daughter, she was transfered out of this school but somehow she believes she still goes here"

"No worries sir, what's her name?"

He looked at the beta female and sighed.

"Vanessa M."

Her fingers quickly tap the keyboards as she pulled out Vanessa's file. A frown formed on her face.

"Hm, it seems there's an issue with my computer. Give me a few minutes please"

He eyed her suspiciously, why did she look nervous? Two minutes passed and the receptionist had not returned yet. Liam sighed and walked around the crescent shaped desk. When he glanced at the screen he was met with a picture of his wanted murderer mugshot. His face turned red, green vein on his forehead throbbing in anger. With a slap to the desk, he roared.

"FUCK!"

Seven black SUV's pulled up across the street from Liam's house. The mordern looking mansion was practically see through, Josh could see the man's bedroom from where he was standing.

"Alright everyone, let's move out!" Captain Wendy shouted an order. Luke handed Josh a gun and gave him a kiss on the forehead.

"Be safe kitten"

Josh kissed him on the lips and let out a low moan, fingers gently caressing Luke's cheek and chin.

"Always"

They divided into three groups, Wendy's group headed to the left, Luke's to the right and Josh's to the front.

"Sanju police station, open up!" Josh yelled as he banged the glass door. He turns to his colleagues and nodded. One of them ran back to the car and returned with a battering ram.

Glass shattered to the white marble floors and the sound of the alarm blared across the silent house.

Josh stepped inside, gun in hand as he walked slowly opening each door he found.

"Clear!"

His radio beeped and Luke's voice came through.

"It's clear upstairs"

Followed by Wendy's voice.

"It's clear in the backyard"

They regrouped at the foyer, Josh rested his hand against a round table. The table was varnished and had a tall white vase on top.of it. Wendy sighed in defeat.

"Looks like he's out. Probably killing someone as we speak"

The two detectives sighed as well. Then Luke snapped his fingers as an idea came to mind.

"He can't be that far, let's send out some undercover cops nearby. I'll call traffic police and have then scan through this morning's footage"

Josh nodded in agreement. It was a good idea.

"I agree"

Seeing both of their determined looks, Wendy nodded with confidence.

"Alright, get to it"

Liam walked around the school campus, keeping an eye out for his daughter. His eyes narrow due to the sun, he sighs.

"Nessa, where are you?" He whispered. He continues to walk around until he reached the playgrounds. A sigh of relief escaped his lips.

Vanessa on the swing, head down looking at her hands. Liam walked towards her, he sat on the swing next to Vanessa.

"Hey"

Vanessa looked up and sighed.

"Hi"

Liam looked around the playground, he could see the school a whole lot better from here. He glanced at  Vanessa.

"Do you miss this place?"

Vanessa nodded and sniffled. Liam rubbed his hand on her back and sighed once again.

"Do you want me to enroll you in the school boarding program?"

Vanessa gasped and looked at him in shock, her once sad eyes were now shining with excitement.

"Really?"

Liam nodded. But now that he was a wanted murderer, he'll have to be creative.

"Of course! I'll call the school tomorrow morning"

"Okay! Let's go home" Vanessa's excitement filled voice said and hopped off the swing. Liam chuckled.

"Let's get some ice cream first"

"Yay!"

The neighbourhood was silent, Josh and Luke were keeping watching at Liam's house. Luke hands Josh a cigarette and the omega took a drag and sighed, smoke going out of his lips and nostrils.

"What are you thinking about?" Luke asked.

"What if his neighbours tipped him off?"

Luke scoffed and took his cigarette back.

"A guy like him being friendly with his neighbours is impossible. And if they did tip him off, we'll arrest them for obstruction of justice."

Josh didn't respond, he looks at the side mirror and sees a black porche approaching. His ears perk up and he presses a button on his radio.

"He's here!"
