"He lost a lot of blood, Although he's stable at the moment, we're not really sure if he'll make it through the night"

Wendy nodded her head, eyes misty with tears. When backup arrived at the scene an hour ago, they had found Luke laying in a pool of his own blood.

Once the doctor left, she turns her attention to Luke. He was laying in the hospital bed, unconscious. There was a knock on the door.

"Captain?"

"Talk to me" she responds, her gaze still on Luke.

"We found detective Morrison, he was in an airport ten minutes ago. Liam is taking him away"

Suddenly Luke's eyes slowly opened, with a hoarse voice he whispers,

"Josh..."

Wendy let out a shaky breath, hands gripping her slacks very tightly. What was Liam planning with Josh?

"Let's go get Josh"

"Wheels up in 5 minutes, sir"

"Alright"

He buckles Josh into his seat and smiled. His blood smeared fingers gently caress Josh's pale face.

"We're finally together my love"

This was the moment he had been anticipating for. Josh in his arms. Although he admits leaving Vanessa behind was kind of messed up but sacrifices needed to be made. Hopefully Vanessa understands.

Liam rested his head on Josh's shoulder and smiled.

"I'll love you more than him"

The private jet slowly made it's way down the runway and Liam felt his happiness surge. This was a beginning of another adventure, a romance that will be told from one generation to the other, well....in his head he hopes so.

Wendy and her team arrived at the airport only to watch Liam's jet soar off into the purplish sky. She watches as the sun slowly rised and she cursed.

She had failed Luke, she had failed Josh and she had failed Sanju.

One of the officers runs towards her with a phone in hand, her face was pale and eyes wide in shock.

"Captain, it's for you"

Wendy took the phone and placed it at her ear. She said,

"Hello?"

"Captain, it's Luke. He...he didn't make it"

"It will be hard to hypnotise him but we can still try"

Liam turns to Josh, the omega was unconscious on the hospital bed. Liam plans to use hypnotherapy in order to trick Josh into thinking they had been in a relationship with him for years.

"Just give it a try, maybe it'll work" the alpha says as he handed the doctor a thick envelope full of money.

The doctor nodded as he accepted the envelope.

"I'll get started"

Amazing grace, performed by a bagpiper echoed in the silent cemetery. Captain Wendy watched as her fallen officers got lowered to the ground. She released a shaky breath, watching as three lieutenants folded the country's flag and handed it over to the deceased's family and friends.

"This is wrong" she whispers and felt a hand on her shoulder. She looks to her left and saw Luke, his pale face and tired eyes made her eyes glisten.

After she got the call that Luke had passed away, she almost quit her job. Luke however was a fighter and came back 4 minutes after being declared dead. He was discharged today to attend the funerals then he'll get back to the hospital.

"We will catch that son of a bitch and bring Josh home"

Red sheer curtains swayed back and forth due to the breeze. There was a soft scent of vanilla and honey in the room. His eyes slowly opened, he found himself laying on a king sized bed, the white satin sheets felt smooth against his exposed legs. He sat up and yawned, then the door opened and a man walked inside the room.

They locked eyes for a moment and the other man smiled before walking towards the bed.

"You're awake"

Josh nodded his head and sighed.

"What happened? I feel so tired" he said. He couldn't remember much but what he can recall is that he went out with Liam for dinner and they drank two bottles of wine.

"You got a little tipsy and hit your head when I tried to help you to bed. The doctor will be here soon to check you out"

Josh nodded and slid off the bed, Liam watched the omega head towards the window, he bit his lip. The hypnotherapy really worked!

The doctor had given Josh a fake memory of them meeting in Italy and immediately hitting it off, Josh lived with Liam in his house and they plan on having babies soon.

"What should we do today? I'm in the mood for some croissants" Josh's voice brought Liam back. The alpha nodded and sat down on the bed.

"After the doctor checks you up, then we go. Deal?"

Josh nodded and smiled at Liam.

"How about we do something while we wait?" He said and unbuttoned his shirt, the white clothing fell to the group revealing the omega's naked body, there was bruising around his neck from when he was kidnapped back in Sanju.

Liam watched Josh slowly walk towards him, his heart was beating so fast. Josh's soft hands landed on the alpha's shoulder as he sat on Liam's lap, he felt the man's bulge underneath his naked rear-end.

"Please" he whispers and leaned forward. Their lips were inches apart and Liam found himself closing his eyes.

Then there was a knock on the door. The alpha groaned and his eyes opened and found Josh giggling.

"We'll finish this later" Liam declared and got up to tend to the door.

Josh quickly dressed up in sweatpants and Liam returned with the doctor. What Josh didn't know, it was the same doctor who hypnotised him.

"Good morning Josh, I'm doctor Val. I hear you bumped your head last night, why don't we check you out for any sign of a concussion."

Josh laid down on the bed and the doctor gazed at Liam who nodded at him.

"Close your eyes, Josh"

Josh did as told and heard the doctor begin to speak.

"Imagine you're floating in a pool of water..."

Whilst Josh slept, Liam gave the doctor an envelope full of money.

"I hope patient doctor confidentiality will be strictly enforced"

Val. nodded and stuffed the envelope in his bag.

"No need to worry. If you suspect he's gaining his memories back, feel free to call me anytime"

"Thanks"

Liam glanced at the bed and smiled as he watched Josh sleep.

"You are finally here my love. You and I are going to have the best time"
