Luke sat up on the couch and looked up at Josh.

"Why are you leaving me again?"

Josh was confused. He turns to face this man.

"Again?"

Luke nodded and stood up and took his phone out of his pocket. He goes to his gallery and handed the phone to the omega.

"You and I are a couple. We are detectives and we were after a serial killer who eventually kidnapped you, his name is Liam"

Josh's bewildered eyes stared at the phone, thumb swiping left to look at the endless pictures of him and this man.

"How is this possible? I don't....I don't remember taking these"

Luke felt pained by this. What exactly did Liam do to Josh?

"Kitten, you have to believe me. Liam is a dangerous man. You shouldn't be with him"

Josh handed Luke his phone back and stared at the beta's eyes.

"I don't know what type of joke you and Liam are trying to play here. If he thinks he can hit me and try to convince me to come back to him then it won't work"

Luke got to his feet, eyebrows furrowed in angered.

"What did you say? He hit you?"

Josh nodded without a word. Luke held him by the shoulders and sighed.

"Stay here okay, I'm going to track Liam down....and kill him"

Wendy took a bite of her bruschetta, eyes on the binoculars as she looked out for any sign of Liam, Josh or Luke.

"Captain? What if we don't find them? Italy is a very large scope" one of the detectives voiced out her thoughts. Wendy turned to the detective and smiled.

"Josh and Luke are the best cops I've ever met. I know we'll find them and we'll catch that bastard, Liam" she declared and turned back to the window.

Her ears perked up once she spotted an angry looking Luke walking down the street.

"I spotted Luke, no sign of Josh though. Let's quietly follow him"

Josh paced back and forth in Luke's hotel suite. His mind racing with thoughts. Liam was a serial killer? Is that why Josh couldn't remember anything before he woke up in Italy?

Was Luke telling the truth? Were him and Josh really in a relationship? The pictures prove that to be true...

He smacks his left temple as he paced faster.

"Think Josh. Remember who you are! Who are you Josh?!"

The more he thought of this, the more his head began to ring from the inside. He clutched his temples and fell to his knees.

Luke looked at the address Josh had given him. He couldn't believe that he had passed here earlier and didn't even realize the monster was near.

He tosses the paper and climbed up the stairs that led to the front door. His eyebrows furrowed as he imagined Liam abusing his kitten. His hand clenched into a fist and he bashed on the door with rage filled force.

Moments later he heard the lock turn from the other side and the door slowly opened, revealing Liam. The alpha was wearing a black shirt and black slacks, it looked like he was going somewhere.

The two men looked at each other, not saying a word. Luke's knuckles cracked as his hands balled into fists.

"You son of a bitch!" Luke roared and his fist met Liam's jaw, sending the alpha staggering back inside the house. Luke swung again but this time Liam ducked.

The alpha grabbed the beta by his hair before his right hand connected solidly with Luke's ribs, sending the beta down on the floor clutching his side.

Liam sighed and closed the door.

"You just couldn't let me be could you?" He asked. Luke regained his composure and lunged at Liam, attempting a tackle but the beta was not as strong compared to the alpha who easily tossed Luke down on the floor.

"Josh doesn't even remember you. Give up!" The alpha yelled and swung his fists, both times connecting with Luke's face.

Luke staggered backwards, lip bleeding and mouth tasting like metal. He spat out his bloody saliva and heaved for air before he stood up straight, the fierce determination in his eyes made Liam cackle.

"You really love him don't you? Would you feel the same when you discover that him and I were fucking?"

"Josh will never sleep with a person like you!" Luke's trembling voice roared. Liam laughed even more.

Then there was a knock on the door and Liam looked at it then back to Luke.

"Looks like your friends are here to help you out."

Luke held on to the couch as he stood up, the crimson seeping out between his fingers made him shudder.

Liam walked towards the beta and smirked.

"I will go find Josh. This time, I'll kill him"

Luke closed his eyes, just as Liam was about to walk out the kitchen door. He spoke.

"Josh remembers everything now. He's probably waiting for you as we speak"

Liam paused and he scoffed.

"As if a little omega can kill me"
