"What do you mean Luke is missing? I left him at the hospital just hours ago!"

Wendy sighed as he listened to the hospital director's explanation. Her eyes roam around the office and they land on the white board. Her eyes widened and she gasped.

"I think I know where he went. I have to go"

She storms out of the office and whistled, catching the attention of the officers.

"Luke has fled to Italy. I'm sure the plane he's on will land soon. We're going there to be his backup, once we spot Josh and made sure he's safe and sound, then we move in to catch Liam. Wheels up in 30 minutes!"

Meanwhile, Luke fastened his seatbelt as the plane was about to land. His heart was beating so fast, he didn't know if it was medication or the adrenaline flowing in his blood.

He just hopes Liam didn't do anything to Josh or else....he'll have to fight that alpha to the death if it came to that point.

The plane tyres made contact with the runway, Luke felt a slight jolt as the aircraft gear absorbed the impact. Moments later the plane slowly made it's way towards the terminal. He glanced out the window and sighed.

"I'm here, now to find Josh"

"Josh?!" He called out, but he probably appeared to be a madman as there was no sight of Josh anywhere.

The events of last night were still fresh in his mind, he didn't mean to slap Josh. It was just annoying to be scolded like that, he realized what he had done when He saw the tears in Josh's eyes and the omega ran off to who nows where.

"JOSH?!"

What have I done? I stole Josh with the hopes of loving him and what did I do? I ruined his life....this was not supposed to happen. I have to fix this! Josh....please come back, I'll do better, I promise.

"...Josh"

"How many nights will you spend with us?"

Luke pondered for a moment before he smiled.

"How about a fortnight."

"Very well"

After processing everything, Luke is led towards his suite. He wanted a suite in case Josh wanted to spend more time in Italy with him. The moment the door opened, Luke was in awe. This place looked so magical and romantic, there were red rose petals spread on the bed, there was a sliding door that led to the balcony. He stood there, taking in the Venice air.

"Is the room to your liking sir?"

He nods and gave the concierge a tip.

"It's excellent thank you"

Now alone, Luke immediately began to unpack, he set up a station on the suite's closet doors.

"McKinley hill" he murmurs and circled the name with a red marker.

"I'll begin my search there"

Josh was back at Accademia Bridge. He stood there in silence, the once red mark on his face was now turning purplish and blackish revealing that he had been slapped by a rather large hand.

Did he really deserve that slap? Was he being overdramatic?

Wait....what is he thinking, nothing should validate what Liam did. Liam is in the wrong here. It shows that their relationship was toxic.

He chuckles in a monotonous mannner while he  shook his head.

"I wouldn't be surprised if he had been abusing me and the reason I can't remember anything is that he gave me a concussion"

He sighs and glanced at the water underneath the brigde.

"What do I do now? I have no place to go to"

Liam was still roaming the streets, looking for a sudden appearance from a bubblegum pink haired man. He can't remember how many times he has yelled out Josh's name.

Just as he was about to enter a cafe, his eyes widen when he saw a man with a pair of green eyes, the man who was determined to bring Liam to prison.

"What the hell is he doing here" he whispers and sneakily camouflaged himself within a group of tourists. He watched Luke walk towards the right direction, opposite the direction of where Liam's house was.

The alpha sighed and smirked.

"Lukie pooh, still clueless as ever" he mocked and clicked his tongue.

"I have to find Josh before him"

Luke clicked a few pictures with his compact camera, he'd smile at the thought of Josh holding one of these pictures.

"I wonder if I still have time to go to Accademia Bridge" he murmurs as he glanced at his wrist watch. It was an hour before noon.

He glanced at the opposite direction and back at the way to the bridge.

"Josh is more important, I have to find him first"

He turns around to leave but paused. His hand grabs the compact camera and he sighs.

"One picture is all I need, I'll just run"

He ran towards the bridge, as if he was chasing after someone. When he got there, the bridge was not that crowded. He quickly snapped a few pictures until a voice spoke from behind, the voice gave him goosebumps.

"It's beautiful isn't it"

Luke's hands began to tremble as he closed his eyes. That voice. It was him wasn't it.

"I'm sorry to disturb you....I was wondering if you had change to spare"

Luke harshly turned around and his eyes widened.

"who....who did this to you?"

Josh shook his head.

"An ex boyfriend. I shouldn't have bothered you, my apologies"

The omega turned around to walk away and Luke's hand was left mid air in an attempt to grab him. He was speechless, his hand clenched into a tight fist.

"Josh, wait!"

Josh paused. How did this man know his name? He quickly turned around to face him and he's met with a pair of green eyes. Something inside him stirred, as if his brain was trying to recall something but he couldn't. He clutched his temples and Luke gasped.

"What's wrong?"

"My head...it hurts!" Josh cried out, it was like his brain had a heartbeat of it's own, the throbbing alone made him feel like his eyes were about to pop out of their sockets.

Luke was quick to carry him. What did Liam do him?!

"Don't worry, I'll take you somewhere safe"

Wendy and her team made their way out of the plane. She looks at her phone screen and turned to her teammates.

"Luke has checked into a hotel. We have to get a room there and begin to follow him silently."

"Yes, captain!"

"Good. Now who wants to pay for our hotel rooms?"

Silence reigned amongst them then Wendy sighed.

"Fine, I guess it's on me"
