Chapter 16- Cragger

Her, I, and one of my attacker's went out of the shady, tent covered area and back onto the main road towards a second safe house they had, along the way I learned their names were Asuri and Sai. We walked for a while and we eventually reached a tower topped with an emerald green roof not too far from the massive tower that shaded us on our arrival.

We went in and it was considerably nicer that the other one, I guess being so close to the public eye meant they had to keep up appearances. Asuri climbed up the tower and said she had to do something and after a few seconds a hole in the ground opened.

"I know exactly where Ry'Tharr took those two, luckily we have a fast track there that's pretty well hidden." She told us. "I'll explain the plan on the way."

The ride was long and the majority of it was spent in a dark tunnel. I could just barely make out his expression from the dim cabin light and Sai was giving me dirty looks the whole ride, probably for the stray stabbing or two when they jumped me but they should've just asked me to help them.  After awhile the underground tunnel went to underwater, the car was made of glass and I could see the sun penetrating the water and the shadows of ships from he busy port above us. After a couple minutes it went back to earth for a little bit and then we were above the ground, I looked out the side of the car and saw a short mountain covered in colorful, crowded building stacked on top of each other, despite that they were all really nice and expensive looking. The land gave way to a bay of beautiful blue water that connected to the larger city.

"There it is, the inner city. Fully of Ry'Tharr's rich cronies." Asuri spoke up. "And the Tyrant at the very center." She saying while pointing to a large house on a small peninsula. "And by the looks of it he's leaving with your friend to the city. That's where you come in."

"What do I do?" I asked her.

"Ry'Tharr tends to attract crowds so it'd be quite easy to get lost up there when he's around. When that happens I want you to separate him from Laval." She explaind to me my part of the plan.

"How would I do that?" I asked her.

"Try and distract Laval, you're his friend so he'd listen to you more than anyone else. It's a big city so you're bound to find something that interests him. Now since this your first time Sai is gonna make sure you don't get lost or to deep in trouble." She explained to me and Sai, who was grumbling reluctantly. "And I will sneak into his estate, I got word of him wanting to expand into Indosinia and I want to find what I can about that."

We eventually came to a stop at some bushes away from the city, on a steep side of the mountain, we entered through a drainage canal close to us. After awhile of crawling through the maze-like tunnels we came to a stop and Asuri poked her head through a manhole and gave us an all-clear to come up. We surfaced to a crowd surrounding a Lion with dark fur, being followed by... Laval?

"There he is Cragger! Got get him and I'll take care of the rest." Asuri told me.

I frantically looked around for something but nothing suited his tastes, I turned my gaze to him and noticed he was resting by the doors to a particularly fancy restaurant. It was already starting to get dark outside and I could see candle-lit tables through the windows and it looked like a nice atmosphere. Then I got an idea
