The terror of seeing Midoriya begins to fade, But the confused shouting does not. Sero and Monoma shouting about how throwing Midoriya like that wasn't okay and how Shinsou better explain himself while Shinsou just sits next to me taking it.
"Guys stop!" I practically beg as I continue my huddle at the corner of the bed. "Leave it alone. It's fine."
"But-" Monoma starts but stops himself and breathes a deep breath before speaking again. "You're right I'm sorry. It's not a big deal I just feel so wired with what's all been happening."
Sero studies me, then Shinsou.
"You know something!" He accuses, his gaze pinned on Shinsou.
"I don't know anything for certain." Shinsou states calmly. "Just a hunch."
His gaze meets mine and I turn away, shifting uncomfortably under his stare.
"Well are you gonna share with the rest of us or leave us hanging?" Monoma asks, standing up with his hands placed on his hips in a mom like way. Reminding me a little of Mina.
"I'm not the one you should be asking." Shinsou says.
"Then who is?" Sero asks but his gaze turns to me briefly like he already knows.
"Kaminari." Shinsou explains simply. "He started panicking as soon as Midoriya walked in, in case you didn't notice. Along with that anytime Midoriya was near he, Monoma, and I he seemed almost desperate to get away. But again, it's just a hunch."
My body stiffens as I feel each pair of eyes stare at me, The memory of each cut, bruise, and broken bone Midoriya had caused seemed to echo in my body.
"You're reading to much into things. I just spook easily is all." The lie flowing out of my mouth easily, but none of them look convinced. "Seriously it's nothing! I need some rest you guys should go."
I don't want them to go, I want the comfort of their presence but the longer their here the more they find out and the angrier Midoriya will be.
"Oh bullshit!" Sero exclaims. "He's the one who gave you that panic attack, isn't he!"
"Kami had a panic attack?" Shinsou says slowly, worry lacing his tone. "Why didn't you tell me, Kami?"
Monoma looks sad and angry at himself for missing so much and I just want to run into his arms and cry. Instead though I shrug them off and ignore tge problem.
"Kaminari, I swear to God you will tell us what's been happening before Im forced to get a teacher." Shinsou says. His expression hardening to one of unwavering resolve.
"And don't think for one second Denks that I won't use Shinsous quirk on you. I'm not afraid of getting expelled of it keeps the people I love safe." Monoma says pure stubbornness set in every inch of him.
"It's fine. I'm fine. He didn't do anything." I lied not only to them, but to myself.
"I'm getting Aizawa." Sero says.
"NO!" I shout. "No. There's no need for that."
I laugh nervously.
"Kami... Please just tell us honey..." Monoma says I'm a sweet comforting voice that makes me want to tell them everything.
"Kaminari please. Nothing will happen to you if you tell us, I promise." Shinsou reaches over and squeezes my hand while Sero looks at me pleadingly.
I try to stop myself but I begin to cry and with each tear my resolve crumbles so I tell them everything.
I tell them about every punch, every threat, every broken bone. I tell them about my parents who the green haired boy reminds me of. I tell then what Aizawa told me and my urge to drink until I feel okay again.
They begin to cry too. So we all cuddle up together after moving a second bed next to the one I had used.
After about 30 minutes of the comforting embrace Recovery girl returns to make sure I'm okay and Aizawa listens to my story through the three boys.
"You're safe now Kaminari. Everything will be okay." Aizawa says after wrapping me in a tight embrace, and I know he's right.
Sorry it took so long and it's so short. Love you all!
