Ishi, Shrinkhal, and Shravan were back home after their trip which went nicely. Shrinkhal went back into his shell where he would spend his whole day working, eating, sleeping, and repeating this pattern. He barely used to talk to anyone of them apart from his camera.

He was working his ass off but there was a huge difference in his personality now. He has started to get irritated easily for no reason. He was distant from Ishi now and used to scold Shravan for even cracking a single joke.

Ishi was done preparing food when she came and asked Sri to come into the dining room so that they'd eat together.

"Babe?" Shrinkhal called out.

"Yeah?" Ishi smiled and peeked inside the room.

"Could you please give me food inside my room, I have to work."

"Why don't you come and eat with me?"

"I can't, sorry baby. Next time pakka."

"Seriously?" She entered the room and stood in front of him.

"Do you remember tumne last time mere saath baat bhi kab ki thi?" Ishi talked in a very irritated manner.

"Abhi kar toh Raha hoon?"

"Oh, God! Sinku kya hogaya hai yaar tumhe kabhi iss kamre se bahar nikal ke bhi dekho...duniya bas itni si hi nahi hai."

"Itna overreact kyun kar Rahi ho, Ishi? You know kitna important hai mera kaam?"

"Toh Mera kaam bhi important hai but that doesn't mean main kaam ke pichhe tumhe bhool jati hoon ya yeh bhool jati hoon meri life bhi hai shayad kaam se badh ke?"

"Now this is too much! Damn it! Kya karoon batao? Kya chahti ho tum?" He turned around and rubbed his forehead.

"Mujhe kuch nahi chahiye tumse apna kaam hi karlo tum. Khana bhi khud le Lena, I'm leaving now."

She smacked the door behind her and went upstairs to breathe. She can't understand where she was wrong and when was it she forgot about her kid.

She began to breathe rapidly knowing that she was panicking now. Those fights were growing continuously. She doesn't want her relationship to turn this ugly. She was hoping that Shrinkhal would come and take her into his embrace.

She looked at the sky and tears rolled down her cheeks. She could not understand why all of this was happening. No doubt, he was doing great with his work but that doesn't mean he forgets about her.

After her crying session, she went downstairs and fell asleep on the couch while watching TV. She had no idea when she landed back into her room but when she woke up the next morning she was on the bed, all tugged in.

She smiled to herself, her eyes tried to find her kid but he was out of sight. While rubbing her eyes, she walked into the kitchen and saw Shrinkhal cooking breakfast. She hugged him from behind, "Good morning, honey bunny."

"Hmm... morning."

She peeked and saw his deadpan face, "what happened? Are you okay?"

"Nothing happened. Let me cook, please. Also, here the food eat it. Unlike you, I am serving you and not throwing words at you which would hit like a needle."

She went numb for a second but couldn't understand how to reciprocate. Shrinkhal had never taunted her in her whole life but this guy who was standing in front of her wasn't her Sinku he was someone else it seemed.

"I...uh-"

He walked while narrowing his eyes at her. She could not move an inch and was so clueless and kept staring at the plate. She just drank water and sat on the balcony as it was raining. She missed those days when Shrinkhal used to be so excited about rain and always ask Ishi to dance with him in the rain.

She was all lost in her memory lane and couldn't realize when she began to cry. Shravan's call brought he back into reality, she cleaned her face and picked up the video call. "Hi! Bacha! Kaisa hai tu?"

"Tu ro Rahi thi? Kya hua? Sinku ne kaha kuch?" He instantly understood everything.

"Nahi nahi! Tujhe aise hi lag raha hai. Sab theek hai main bas tujhe hi yaad kar rahi thi. Kab aa Raha hai Ghar? Ya Tera favorite khana banaungi toh ayega?" She lied.

"Exactly! Aur Sinky Kahan hai?"

"As usual, apne kamre mein" She lowered her eyes and got lost again.

"Usse toh baarish pasand hai toh bahar nahi aya kya dekhne?"

"Not really!"

"Chal koi baat nahi usko bhi theek karta hoon. Tu tension mat le aa Raha hoon kal main."

"Thank God! Mera akele bilkul bhi Mann nahi lag raha iss Ghar mein. Jaldi aa aur mumma ke haath ka aam ka achar mat bhoolna. Okay?" She filled her eyes and laughed.

"Yes madam! Chal theek hai karta hoon baat main zara chai toh bana loon."

"Haha! Okay take care, I love you."

He sent her a flying kiss and cut the call. Ishi's fake smile faded away too. She tried to talk to him again calmly. He was sitting on the bed while watching something on his phone. Ishi quietly sat next to him, "what's up, man?"

"Huh? Nothing much... Just working!"

"Ahan? It's raining outside. Wanna come and sit with me on the Balcony? What say? Huh?"

He looked at her and nodded his head, "Neh! I'll pass. I need to work."

"Okay! Do you want to eat something?"

"No!"

She didn't know what else to ask him so she simply sat there looking at his face.

"Did you eat?" He asked while looking at his phone.

"No!"

"Why?"

"I didn't feel like eating."

"Since?"

"Last night?"

He got worried and put the phone down, "Are you crazy or what, bacha? Chalo aao khana khilaun tumhe."

He held her hand and took her into the kitchen. Ishi felt at peace and happily sat on the chair while Shrinkhal was cooking for her. Once he was done, he served and fed her with his hands. The lines of worry was on his forehead and Ishi tried but couldn't understand.

Ishi was content to know that at least he takes care of her and she still has her old Sinku with her. But whatever was happening, she wasn't happy. She wanted to have her proper time but again she understands how important his work is right now. She just now has to handle him patiently rather than getting all panicked.
