Sri stood in his room, staring at the cupboard, trying to decide what to pack. A large suitcase lay open on the bed, and the entire room was a mess. Clothes were scattered everywhere, making it look like a tornado had just passed through.

Ishi walked in, balancing two cups of steaming tea in her hands. The moment she saw the state of the room, she nearly screamed.

"Don't you dare touch anything else! Here, hold this... Ugh, I can't even find a place to put the cups. Pakad ke chup chap yahan baith jao, theek hai? I'll pack myself." She sighed in frustration, smacking her forehead before setting the cups down carefully and beginning to tidy up.

She shoved all the clothes back into the cupboard before pulling out a few outfits for the trip. Meanwhile, Sri sipped his tea silently, knowing better than to argue when Ishi was already annoyed.

But his peace didn't last long.

"No... I'm not wearing that," Sri muttered, pointing at a piece of clothing in Ishi's hands.

Ishi glanced at him and then at the outfit. "Dummy, this is mine. It's just a scarf... which I'll be wearing as a top."

Sri froze mid-sip, his mind instantly picturing Ishi in that outfit. Damn, no.

"You can't wear that," he blurted out, snatching the scarf and stuffing it back into the cupboard.

"And may I ask why?" Ishi raised an eyebrow.

"I don't want people looking at your—uhh, you know." He ran a hand through his hair, looking away. "It's all mine. I'm jealous. God."

Ishi burst out laughing. "Sweetie, I'll be wearing your blue denim jacket over it. You know I don't like showing too much skin."

Sri sighed in relief. "Right. I know."

"But look at you. All jealous. What if I wear it without the jacket?" She teased.

He narrowed his eyes. "I mean, you can wear whatever you want. Main tumhari maa nahi hoon. But I'll be very jealous. Aur jo bhi tumpe line marega, uska toh the end. Dekhna, Dahmer ban jaunga Uttarakhand ka."

Ishi chuckled. "Haan, bas bas. Bohot hai itna hi. I don't want you turning into Dahmer. Nahi pehnungi aise, okay?"

Sri smirked. "Yes, baby girl. Ab yeh lo apni chai. Pee lo ji, jaanu ji." He teased, handing her the cup.

As Ishi continued packing, Sri headed to his younger brother Guru's room. Guru was busy stuffing his suitcase—not with clothes, but with snacks.

Sri's jaw dropped. "Abbey, yeh kya kar raha hai, bhai? Trip pe ja rahe hain, picnic nahi. Gadha."

Guru shrugged. "Kapde toh tere bhi pehen loonga. Food is more important for survival. Nanga ghoom loonga."

Sri shook his head. "Bhai, teri shakal bhi aisi hai ke log tujhe dekh ke kapde daan de denge."

"Keh sakte hain," Guru said, unfazed.

Sri folded his arms. "Agar Ishi Maa ne tera bag dekh liya na, toh tera 'The End' likh dena. Isliye dhang se kapde pack kar. Main kuch nahi dunga pehenne ko, waise bhi Ishi ke saath kapde share kar raha hoon."

Guru smirked. "Bro, aapki priorities hi alag hain. Aur waise bhi, tu share nahi kar raha. Zabardasti kar rahi hai."

Before Guru could react, Sri lunged at him and held his face, pretending to kiss him just to annoy him. Guru struggled to escape, but Sri wouldn't let go. Just then, Ishi entered the room.

"Can you guys please take this nonsense outside? Hey Bhagwan, yeh kya hai Guru?"

"Mera suitcase. Mere kapde. Mera bed—"

Ishi cracked her knuckles. "Aur yeh hai mera haath jo ab padega tere. Dekhna."

Sri burst out laughing as Guru gulped and quickly started packing properly. Though Ishi wasn't intimidating, Guru had immense respect for her—especially since she was his elder brother's girlfriend.

With their bags finally packed, they loaded everything into the car. Sri took the driver's seat, Ishi sat beside him, and Guru occupied the backseat.

Before they even left the driveway, Sri and Guru started arguing over who would play their playlist.

Ishi didn't bother arguing—she simply connected the aux to her phone and played her own playlist.

The moment old Bollywood songs started playing, Sri and Guru exchanged glances but said nothing. They knew better than to challenge Ishi when it came to music. Eventually, they gave in and started singing along.

"Hum vlog bhi banayenge. Please cooperate," Guru pleaded.

Ishi chuckled. "Haan, lekin apni gandi shakal bhi dikhana beech-beech mein."

Sri smirked. "Bhai tu apni shakal dikhayega toh log tujhe hi dekh ke mute kar denge."

Ishi took Guru's side, pinching his cheeks. "Chotu cute hai, okay?"

The drive continued with non-stop banter, laughter, and tea breaks.

A few hours into the journey, they stopped at a roadside stall nestled among the mountains. Ishi stepped out and walked to the edge of the road, admiring the breathtaking view.

Sri, watching her from a distance, couldn't resist. He quietly took out his phone, clicked a few pictures of her, and smiled to himself.

Then, without a word, he walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist, resting his chin on her shoulder.

Ishi leaned back into him. "Isn't it beautiful?" she murmured.

Sri's lips curled into a soft smile. "For you, maybe. But for me, you are the most beautiful view. Forever."

Ishi turned to him, amused. "Wah, itni achi pickup line, Bhushan ji."

"Bilkul, Malik Sahab. Aapke liye kuch bhi."

Before their moment could last any longer, Guru appeared, holding the camera.

"Uhm... Hello, guys."

Ishi waved at the camera. "Hi!"

Sri smirked. "Chotu, chai lao jao."

Guru sighed and walked back to the stall to grab the tea.

Ishi, grinning, tiptoed and placed a soft kiss on Sri's face. "I'm in love with you. Ugh, I wish I could eat you."

Sri smirked. "Of course, Chikoo, I know you love me. But trust me, I love you more—more than you can ever imagine... deeper than the chasms beneath these mountains."

Ishi felt her heart skip a beat as Sri pulled her close with one arm. She smiled, feeling an overwhelming rush of love.

With their tea in hand, they sat on the edge of the rocks, soaking in the view and sipping their favorite beverage. For them, tea wasn't just a drink—it was a necessity, a ritual, a comfort.

Once refreshed, they resumed their journey, determined to reach Rajasthan before nightfall.

After more than 15 hours on the road, they finally arrived at their hotel. The exhaustion hit them instantly.

The moment they checked into their rooms, they didn't bother unpacking or talking—they simply collapsed onto their beds and drifted into a deep sleep.

Their adventure had just begun.
