Jodie's POV:
I've been up all night rehearsing my lines for my audition. I can't shake the feeling that I'm going to fuck up. I've trained for this I know I can do it but something about this just makes me nervous. Having no idea who I'm going to be working with gives me too much anxiety but I'm going to have to push through it.
Having gotten out of bed I jump in the shower to freshen up as I've been sweating all night. I turn on the shower and begin to wash my hair, then condition it and contemplate my life a little. Once I've washed my body I wrap myself with a towel and turn the shower off. Wanting to eat before I change I walked downstairs in my towel and began to make my breakfast. I had decided that cereal would suffice for today. Once I had finished I walked back upstairs to get ready and picked out what I was going to wear on probably the most important day of my life.I wanted to look smart so chose my lucky suit. But it was lucky for a whole other reason. I hoped that it was actually lucky enough that I would definitely book this role. After applying some makeup I booked a taxi to my audition.
When it finally arrived I hopped in and gave the driver the address for the studio.
It wasn't long until I arrived at the studio. The studio was in such a beautiful building.I walked through the giant oak door and down the hall that had been lined with art pieces. Finally coming to the last doorway I saw a small room that seemed to have almost 30 people inside waiting for something. So I decided to enter and as I did a lovely old woman spoke to me asking for me to hand her the documents that I had brought along. She took my name down then proceeded to point at the rest of the people in the room. "Sit down my dear and you should be called in soon" the lady said. I smiled at her and nodded. There was an empty seat in between two girls that looked to be a year or two older than me. " do you mind if I take a seat in between the two of you?" I asked with a slight nervous expression on my face. They both nodded and smiled. I thanked them both and sat in the chair.
I had been sat there for ten minutes and then I heard my name being called from the doorway. I looked up and saw a man that had to be in his late thirties. This was it my make or break moment. I followed him to a room across the hallway. The door had been closed the entire time that I was here so I hadn't seen the inside till now. Inside sat three people. The man that had brought me in, a woman who seemed to be quite irritated with the day so far which made me nervous and at the very end of the table was a very familiar face. It finally hit me. Gwendoline Christie was sat at that table. That was until she stood up and walked round the table to shake my hand. "Hello lovely, I'm going to be your scene partner for this audition. I can already tell you gonna do great." As she spoke it put my mind at ease.
