Week three is making you crazy. While you have come to enjoy spending time with the coven of vampires, you haven't stayed in one place this long for a while. The need to move is itching your brain."Don't you dare pick up that claymore," Soobin groans as he enters your room.
"I can walk just fine," you huff. "So I should be fine practicing with my claymore."
He takes a seat beside you, beginning to check over your wounds to make sure the stitches are still healing fine.
Soobin shakes his head. "Those are two very different types of movement. Plus, I would prefer you still use the crutch. Just because it doesn't hurt, doesn't mean you are not still injured."
You roll your eyes, looking at him with a dull look. "You have been trying to get me to use that crutch for a week and it hasn't worked yet."
"Yes and I've given up on pushing it. But the claymore would definitely pull at the stitches. And since they are almost healed, we would have to start from the beginning again if you rip them. Which will be insanely painful for you and insanely stressful for us."
You sigh, slumping in your chair as he finishes checking your injuries.
Soobin gives you a soft smile. "I'll give you two weeks before you can use it again. Only for light training though, nothing too rough."
"Fine," relenting with a groan. "But you are helping me train."
"Of course," Soobin laughs, standing up from beside you. "Someone has to keep you from overexerting yourself."
Soobin grabs your arm, helping you stand from the bed.
"You know I don't really need help to get up anymore," you raise your eyebrows.
"Yeah but I want to help," he shrugs with a sheepish smile. "We all do."
You duck your head, feeling a small flare of heat running to your face. Soobin leaves your room first with you following after him quickly. Both of you head to the kitchen, taking seats at the table beside each other, with Beomgyu taking the seat on your other side quickly.
"Good morning Sunshine," Yeonjun hums as he sits across from you. "Would you like to go into town with us today."
"Isn't the town closest to you Memor?"
"Technically yes," Yeonjun nods. "But there is one a little further through the trees past the lake that is relatively okay for non humans. They don't outright attack us at least."
"Why are you going into town? Do you need to feed?" you question, cocking your head to the side.
"No we need to go get some food," Beomgyu answers before Yeonjun can. "Some meat and bread mainly."
You nod your head, making a bit of an "ah" noise fall from you lips. "But yeah, I'll go. I really want to move around somewhere not at the house."
"Good," Yeonjun grins. "Then go get ready if you need to, we are planning on leaving in a couple minutes."
You get up from the table, heading back to your room to change. You are solidly sure the shirt and pants you changed into were Taehyun's, but you are not entirely sure. Heading over to your bag, you pick it up and make sure your coin pouch is in there. Before you head out, you grip at your waist, realizing you had not strapped the knife you normally have to you yet. With a sigh, you reach under your pillow to grab the knife, placing it around you waist and leaving the room.
"Are you ready?" Kai asks as you reach the others.
You nod and the others begin to head out the back door, you following after them. The sun was bright over your heads as you move through the woods and past the small pond. After about an hour of walking, you emerge from the woods at the edge of a town. The town itself seemed quite small as you walk through it, but had a very bright atmosphere with flowers blooming in patches and decorated strings and banners hanging up in the main square. Food venders are set up to the side of the main square and the people mill about around them.
