Nightmare

Chapter 3

After leaving the group of vampires, you had traveled through the woods for about a day. The only time you stopped was when you stumbled upon a stream, washing of the crusted blood and attempting to get most of it out of your clothes. While you didn't mind being covered in his blood for a bit of time, it was becoming a bit of an irritant to your skin. Unfortunately, the cloak you were wearing was too stained, unable to wash the blood from it. On the bright side, it took the brunt of the blood, so all you really had to do was wash the blood from your skin. Once it was washed off, you took a seat and slung your claymore and bag off your back, setting them down close to your side. You took off your cloak, tossing it to the side with a huff. You dug through your bag, pulling out a bit of the food you had found in the hunter's bag. With what you had before and what you found, you had roughly two days (at most) before you either had to hunt for your food, which never really end right because you are shit with a bow, or you would have to go into the nearest town. You suppose the second option seems more plausible at this moment.

A shift in the brush catches your attention. Dropping your food, you grab your claymore, whipping around to face the area behind you. A sigh falls from your lips as two deer move into your eyeline, studying you for a moment before moving past you and towards the stream. Your claymore falls from your hands as you take a seat once again, picking your food back up. The wind blows softly past your ears as you rest. As you finish your food, you stand and sling everything back over your shoulders, moving towards the tree nearest to you and making a slash into it with one of your knives. Sheathing your knife, you heave a breath before starting towards, what you believe, is the direction of the next town over.

~meanwhile with the boys~

"You're sure they went this way?" Beomgyu asks for the fifth time in the past ten minutes.

Kai sighs, throwing his hands in the air. "Yes Beomgyu, I am sure they went this way! Ask again and I throw you!"

Soobin sighs, stepping in between the two. "Okay guys, take a breath okay. Kai, Gyu just wants to make sure we find them again. And Gyu, Kai knows what he's doing okay? He's the best at this."

Both boys nod, mumbling "sorry" under their breaths. Kai turns back, surveying the area around them. They all can hear the stream up ahead and Kai begins to move towards it. "Come on, up ahead. I can still smell Brad's blood."

Taehyun holds up his hand, turning to Kai. "I'm sorry, Brad?"

"Well he never gave us a name," Kai hums. "Were we supposed to just not name him?"

"Yes Kai you were supposed to just not name him," Taehyun groans, shaking his head at his youngest lover.

Kai huffs, crossing his arms. "Well I'm sorry we were bored with the fact he had no name."

"Your lives were being threatened!"

"Our attention spans were being threatened!"

"If I have to stop an argument one more time I'm taking both your asses back home!"

Both boys immediately back down, Kai moving towards Soobin and leaning against him. Kai widens his eyes, and juts out his bottom lip.

"Oh no no get off," Soobin shoves Kai off, moving away and towards Yeonjun. "You can't act cute and get out of this one."

Yeonjun chuckles, wrapping an arm around Soobin and playfully glaring at Kai and Taehyun. "Don't give Binnie a migraine. We can't function without him."

Soobin pecks Yeonjun on the check before moving away from him. "Okay Kai, let's get going."

Kai nods, walking past the two and heading to the front of the group. His eyes flash grey for a moment, then the group is heading towards the stream. They come across the clearing, spanning out to look around.
