Nightmare

Chapter 11

"Sol!"

Your head shoots up, finding Kai rushing towards you. "What's up?"

"Want to head into town with us again?" He gives you a cute smile, cocking his head to the side a bit. "Please?"

"Why are you going into town again?" You ask with a chuckle. 

"Soobin ate all his sweet rolls," Kai explains. "And now he's pouting until he gets more."

"Of course he is," you shake your head with a smile. "But sure, I'll go with you guys."

You get up from the swing outside, following Kai into the house. 

"You're coming?" Beomgyu asks as you enter the living room.

You nod your head. "Yeah, why not."

"Once the other three get ready we will head out," Beomgyu informs you. "Is there anything you want to look for while we are out?"

You think for a moment. "I don't think so, nothing I can think of off the top of my head."

He nods his head. "Just let us know if you think of something."

Before you can respond, Yeonjun comes skipping in, Soobin and Taehyun following behind him. "Alrighty, let's go guys!"

You chuckle, but follow as he heads to the door. Soobin, who is in fact pouting, does a quick once over of everyone to make sure they are ready, then he leaves the house, the others following. 

"Are you guys getting anything besides sweet rolls?" You ask as you all enter the woods.

"Maybe some spices," Soobin hums. "We ran out of a couple things we didn't grab last time."

"Ah okay."

You all wander through the forest, the boys messing with each other or racing every now and again. You just watch with a smile on your lips. When you reach the small town, Taehyun takes a hold of your hand, pulling you closer to him. 

"You weren't joking about keep me closer huh?" You joke, nudging Taheyun's arm.

"Once again," Taehyun hums. "If that shit could be still alive, we aren't taking any chances."

"Okay," you giggle, shaking your head. "Whatever makes you feel better."

Taehyun just smiles, tugging your arm as he moves forward. The others follow behind and you can see the vague tenseness in the muscles. 

"I seriously doubt they are going to be in this random small town in the middle of nowhere. You guys can relax."

"You're probably right," Soobin nods, but he still doesn't relax. 

They walk further into town, and you once again survey the bright decorations of the little town. 

"Okay do you guys want to split up," you begin. "Or do you want to get both things done together?"

"How about you, Taehyun, and Beomgyu go get the spices we need and we will go get the rolls?" Soobin offers, to which everyone agrees. "Okay. Meet up in front of the bakery stand."

Your group of three agrees and Beomgyu grabs Taehyun's free hand to pull both of you towards the little shop together what you need. 

"The town is a little more decorated today," you motion towards the colorful banners as the three of you pass them. 

"I think it has something to do with the town's birthday or something," Taehyun remarks. "I think we ended up here around this time last year. It was a pretty cool celebration."
