Chapter 14

Y/N POV:

The day of trying out being in a guild

When I arrive in front of the guild, I sense a very very familiar presence to me.

I eventually realize who it was that I was sensing, I walk through the doors doing my best to try and keep my composer while I look around for her.

I can sense Erza walk up to me as im looking for her.

Erza: Y/N, what are you doing?

Y/N: Hm? Oh nothing

I continue to walk around to try and look for her, I soon start to walk up some stairs that leads to a balcony that over looks the guild.

Erza: Y/N! You can't go up there that's for S-class wizards only.

I give her a look and continue to walk up the stairs, I soon get to the balcony and I can sense her sitting on the ledge but invisible for some reason. I walk yo the ledge and lean on it.

Y/N: Mavis...... I know your sitting there.

Mavis: (sigh) Of course you do, you can sense everything.

Y/N: So...... how'd you do it?

Mavis: Do what?

Y/N: You know, become a ghost or whatever cause no normal human should be able to do that.

Mavis: Well where do I begin.......

Mavis then tells me about how she became a ghost.

Y/N: Ah, I see very impressive that Cana or whoever was able to do that.

Mavis: Yea, but wait! How come your here? You always said you didn't want to join a guild because it would hold you down from leaving freely.

Y/N: Yea but after living life for a couple hundred years, you eventually get tired of doing the same thing over and over again. And that gets tiring, and the only thing I hadn't done yet was join a guild so I thought why not try it, but this is a trial I still don't know if I'm going to or not.

Mavis: Ohhh, But why couldn't yo-

Before Mavis could finish talking she was interrupted by a brawl breaking out.

I looked down in surprise that they would do this

Y/N: Does this happen often?

Mavis: Yea, especially this generation, they really like fighting.

I look down again and see almost every single member fighting each other except a few. That is when I notice Makarov walk out and more than likely prepare to yell at them.

Makarov: QUIET!!

Soon everyone stopped fighting and looked at Makarov.

Makarov: I have an announcement. As of today Y/N aka the wandering bard will be having a trial period here at the guild.

(R1=random 1 etc)

R1: The wondering bard!?

R2: Maybe we could find out if he's actually a ghost or a cursed man

R3: Do you think he could play for us?

Makarov: QUIET!!, let me introduce you to him, he is up at the balcony with our 1st master

He soon pointed up to me and Mavis, I looked as they all just stared at me.

Mavis: And of course you still have your mask on, you should try taking it off ore often

Y/N: Mm

Mavis: Am I still the only one you've showed your face to?

Y/N: You know it, (sigh) I need a drink

I walk down to the bar so I can get something to drink

Y/N: Hey, can I get some whiskey with some coke in it?

Bartender: Sure! I'm Mira by the way, pleasure to meet you!

Y/N: Mm, nice to meet you too

I soon get my drink and I walk back upstairs with Mavis, I sit down somewhere that I cant be seen. I take off my mask so I can drink.

3rd person POV:

Mavis: Hmm, I haven't seen you without your mask for a while

Y/N: That's cause that last time we saw each other was 100 years ago

Mavis: Yea that is true

Y/N: This drink sure is something

Mavis: Is it good?

Y/N: Oh yea it is

Y/N heared someone walking up the steps and I hurriedly put my mask back on. I look to see who it was and I saw Erza walking up.

  Y/N: What do you want?

Mavis: Y/N don't be rude!

Erza: I just wanted to know what you were doing

Y/N: I was drinking but I finished it.

Erza: You drink with your mask on?

Y/N: No

Mavis: Believe it or not he actually takes his mask off sometimes

Erza: Really? How come you don't take it off more often?

Y/N: Don't have to tell you

Erza: Well how are you doing?

Y/N: I'm fine

Erza: Well what do you think of being in a guild so far?

Y/N: Eh, its fine ive only been here for an hour

Erza: Well, hopefully you'll like it

Y/N: Eh, who knows if I will

Erza: Well hope-

Erza stopped talking as we heard a loud crash, we looked over and saw that another brawl broke out.

Erza: Ah, excuse me

Erza then jumps down and joins in.

Y/N: (sigh) Young people

Mavis: (giggles)
