Harley ~

I was sitting on my ass watching Looney Toons when Dean came in and said I was going to school. How can he do this to me? I thought we were getting better. I got shot, and shot my attacker without help. What kind of alcohol is he drinking?

"You start Monday," He said giving me a sandwich.

"What? School? Come on, Dean, I thought we were cool?" I said getting up from my comfortable spot and taking a bite of my sandwich.

"No buts, you gotta go to school, then in high school you can drop out," He said.

"Dean, I'm already so behind, I haven't been in school for like two months!" I said trying to convince him I shouldn't go.

"I'm not saying you have to pass I'm saying you have to go to school, passing is just a bonus," He said leaving to go find a beer. I heaved a sigh and went to my room to go read lore books.

It was Monday, time for school. I was headed up the steps to go inside when a kid stopped me.

"Hey, Harley?" The kid asked and out of the corner of my eye I say red, shaggy hair.

"Jack? Is that you?" I asked confused as to why he would be in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

"Yeah, you find everything with your dad okay?" He asked me and we were soon sitting on a bench talking. "Why didn't you call me?" He finally asked and the question hung in the air.

"I'm sorry, I really meant to I just was busy getting everything in order," and killing monsters, I thought.

"It's no big deal, you just sort of dropped off the face of the earth for a while there, that's all," He said rubbing the back of his neck nervously.

"I was just with my dad no need to worry," I said reassuring him. " So, how are you in Sioux Falls?" I asked.

"Oh, a bus ticket to the first no name town I could find," He said. "How about you?"

"I'm hear with my dad and my uncle and their uncle," I said.

"That's not complicated," He said sarcastically.

"Yeah, well, nothing is ever simple anymore," I said running a hand through my hair. "So why are you at school?" I said.

"I got caught by an aunt that lives in Sioux Falls, I didn't even know I had an aunt," he said rubbing a hand over his face. We sat there laughing and chatting for a while and then the bell rang. I went inside to the office to get my class schedule and I had math first, ugh. It said it was around the corner. When I got there, there were already students in their seats waiting for class to begin. I sat in a seat near the back wall where I would probably not be noticed. I saw a figure out of the corner of my eye with red hair.
