Dean ~

While Harley was asleep in the passenger seat I thought about what she said earlier, about how I was never there. It wasn't fair to her to show up now after 13 years. I still don't know when her birthday is. I made a promise to myself to always be there for her, no matter what from now on, but some where in my head I heard Harley's voice saying don't make promises you can't keep, I didn't listen to it because this was a promise I would keep.

Harley ~

I woke up to sunshine and an asphalt road with trees surrounding it. I was blinking the sleep out of my eyes when Dean asked, "Morning sunshine, sleep well?"

"Yeah, I slept better than I had in a long time," I was half lying, I did sleep well but with some trippy ass dreams that troubled me but I kept quiet.

"Hey kid, I never did find out when your birthday is?" Dean said and it caught me off guard.

"Why do you want to know?" I asked.

"I'm your father, I can't know when your birthday is?" he said and I was still confused.

"Don't laugh okay?" I said.

"Okay, I won't it can't be that bad," he said with a chuckle.

"October 31st," I said.

"Really?" he asked, "Halloween?"

"Yes, now can we keep driving I don't like my birthday," I said.

"Why don't you like it? Don't you get presents and stuff usually?"

"Yeah, I got presents. The thing is that I've been through so much crap with all the beasties of the world that Halloween is just a joke now. And I never just liked my birthday anyway, my mom would always slave away at work just to be able to get me a birthday present. She was always so stressed out during my birthday, it wasn't very fun for me to see her like that," I said.

"Oh, that sucks but I promise we'll do it right this time. We'll get some cake, some candles, it'll be fun," he said. It was a sweet gesture but I didn't need it.

"Dean, I don't have time to celebrate my birthday, with all this stuff going on, but thanks for the offer," I said.

"Buzz-kill, what kind of kid are you?" he asked.

"The kind that has to deal with destiny crap from a higher power," I said.

"Fair enough," he said with a nod. Besides, I knew we both didn't want to say this out loud but, we might not make it to the next birthday. We were both silent the rest of the way to Bobby's. When we pulled up in Bobby's drive there was a sheriff's car outside. "Crap," Deans voice was low and husky.

"Bobby!" I yelled. Dean and I walked up to the door and knocked. A woman answered in a sheriff's uniform.

"Hello, and who might you two be?" she asked. she had brown hair.

"You might want to do us the favor first," Dean said.

"I'm Jody Mills, Sioux Falls sheriff, your turn," she said flatly.

"I'm Dean, this is Harley," he said pointing to me. Right then Bobby came up.

"I showed you everything, now get out of my house Mills!" Bobby said.

"Fine," she said and she pushed past us and left.

"Bobby, what was that?" Dean said.

"Sheriff got suspicious, again, come in you two. Where were you?" Bobby asked.

"Hospital, the one with the huge cast's fault," Dean said pointing to me.

"Hey! You were the one that insisted on going to a hospital!" I said.

"Touché," he said.

"Will you two idjits shut up! You have company," Bobby said pointing to the angel in his living room.

"Cas, how you doing?" I asked.

"Not very well," he said.

"That's great," I said not knowing how to respond.

"What's up Cas?" Dean said.

"Valifar is near ready to attack," Cas said.

"Fan- frickin' - tastic then, how 'bout we get the apocalypse started too. What do ya say, let's get this show on the road!" I said and had trouble walking out of the room.

"Harley wait, that might not be the worst idea," Bobby said. "Dean you need to talk to your brother, he has and idea."

"Oh crap," Dean said and walked out of the room. I turned around and looked at Cas.

"Why are you staring at me?" he asked.

"Because, you're an angel go on fix my busted leg," I said.

"All you had to do was ask," He said and touched my forehead.

"While you're at it can you take this cast off to?" I asked.

"Certainly," and the cast was gone.

"Thanks Cas," I smiled up at him.

"No problem," he said.

"Now where is Valifar?"
