Chapter 17

Dean ~

I made sure Harley got to sleep that night. I had no idea her friend killed her. I had no idea she had a friend, looks like I get the A+ parenting award. The truth is I was overjoyed to see her alive. When she died it was like watching Sam die. I had to bury her. It was heart breaking. I walked downstairs and saw Sam in the library with Bobby.

"Hey, how's she doing?" Sam asked.

"She just got back from the dead and she's still as sarcastic as she was, so I'm going to say she's doing good for a person in her position," I said.

"What happened on that grocery trip, she barley talked to any of us when you guys got back," Sam said.

"Yeah, we made a visit to her friend," I said with an edge.

"Who?" Bobby asked.

"His name is Jack, he got possessed by Valifar and killed her. Oh and he has red hair," I said with a light tone. Sam and Bobby looked taken back by what I said.

"So, she went to go say hi to the guy that killed her?" Bobby asked.

"Apparently they were friends before he got possessed so she was just seeing if he was okay," I said taking a seat and drinking from my beer.

"Wow, she is something," Sam said with a hint of approval to his voice.

"What are you so proud of?" I asked.

"Well she turned the other cheek while her friend killed her, that's very mature," Sam said.

"Yeah, I guess so, a little more than I would do," I said taking another swig of my beer.

"I wonder how good of friends they were," Bobby said.

"Oh, they still are friends, she made sure of that, he seems like a nice kid, maybe a little screwed up but good," I said tilting my head.

"So what do we do about that, this kid already got hurt I guess she can have friends," Sam said.

"Yeah, what could happen that's worse," I said with a shrug.
