Harley ~

We finally arrived at Bobby's in Sioux Falls and my legs were so sore from sitting in a car for the last eight hours I almost fell over getting out of the car. Dean and Sam led me to the door of Bobby's house. An old man with a beard and a ratty baseball cap came to the door and I assumed it was Bobby.

"Hey Bobby," Sam and Dean said simultaneously. He had a face that said 'oh no' and I knew I was screwed.

an hour later

"Bobby, we have to protect her," Dean said, "She's my daughter," I heard dean say. I didn't feel that bad about eavesdropping but there was still a little guilt, just a little.

"I know Dean, I will, but where are you two going?" Bobby asked.

"On a hunt, we found a case," Dean said showing Bobby the papers he put together.

"So soon, you just met your daughter and your leaving her with me?" Bobby said surprised.

"People's lives are at stake Bobby," Sam said interjecting.

"You better get going then, no use changin' your minds," Bobby said giving in.

"Thanks Bobby, this job will take four days tops," Dean said grabbing his coat and leaving. I ran up the staircase and hid behind a wall so they wouldn't see me and they left. They left me here at an old man's house and I don't even know him, without clothes or so much as a good bye. I guess they don't even care. Oh well, what did I expect from a guy who didn't even know I existed till about an hour ago. I went back to the room I was given and sat down thinking hard about whether I should run away or not. I was in the middle of packing my stuff when Bobby knocked on the door, crap, I thought as I opened the door a crack.

"Bobby, what do you need?" I asked peeking my head out.

"I just brought you some old clothes, this is all I had," He said handing me extra large t-shirts and jeans.

"Thanks," I said trying to sound grateful for the oversized clothes. I tried to close the door but Bobby stopped it with his hand.

"I know what you're going to do," He said giving me a sympathetic look.

"What is that?" I asked trying to keep my secret.

"You're going to run away, and get yourself killed," He said.

"Bobby Dean obviously doesn't want me, I would be doing everyone a favor by leaving," I said trying to sound convincing.

"I know Dean may not seem like it but he cares, otherwise if he didn't you would be out on the road probably dead by now," Bobby said trying to convince me. "Listen just stay until Dean gets back and you can get to know each other, okay, then if you still want to leave I'll give you a bus ticket." He said with a slight nod.

"Okay, you promise?" I asked and he nodded his head in turn. "Hey Bobby, since I'm staying, do you have anything that I could read?" I asked with a smirk.

"Kid, I got a whole library. Just pick a book that's in English and you'll be fine," He said with a smile. When Bobby left my room I changed out of my dirty clothes into the extra large plaid shirt and extra large blue jeans Bobby left for me to wear. I looked like a hobo. I sighed and went down stairs to go find a book and I chose one on basic monsters. I stayed up reading it all night and I learned about werewolves and vampires and how to kill monsters like them. I finished it the next morning and slept all through the next day. When I woke up it was seven O'clock in the morning on the second day waiting for my dad to get back. I was so famished I rummaged around the kitchen for food and when I looked in the fridge I saw ajar full of red liquid, blood. I don't know what it was there for but I sure didn't want to find out. I grabbed some bread and peanut butter and made myself a sandwich. I think I surprised Bobby because he came down with a cocked shotgun.

"Hey Bobby, sorry to wake you, I was just hungry," I said and he sighed and went back to bed. I felt bad for Bobby because he was the one stuck with me and I'm not the easiest person to live with. Still, it's not my fault, Dean was the one who left me here to rot.
