"What the hell, it would have hit my head and probably caused a concussion" yelled Rudraksh, dodging a shoe

"Tum isi ke layak ho" yelled Khushi staring at Rudraksh (You deserve that)

Not even two seconds after Rudraksh entered his best friend's apartment, he was nearly greeted by a flying shoe and an angry Khushi.

"What did you tell her?" Rudra asked Shourya.

"Exactly, what you told me. 'She left early, I will tell you more when I get home'" Shourya replied.

"Right, that means she didn't like you. That's why she left. What did you do that she didn't even stay half an hour with you?" Khushi asked, picking up a belan and charging towards Rudra.

Rudra was ready to run out the door when Shourya grabbed the belan from Khushi's hand and said, "Why do you always resort to violence? Ask him calmly."

Shourya and Khushi's dynamic always surprised Rudra. They were so different, yet they fit together perfectly. They started dating when Shourya and Rudra were medical students. Khushi worked as a waitress at the café opposite their college. Shourya always insisted on going to the café around 3 pm, and although Rudra never understood why, he eventually figured out that his best friend had a gigantic crush on the short-haired waitress.

Now, they had been married for 5 years, and Rudra still had the same question lingering in his mind: "What in the world did they see in each other?" But, he guessed that's love for you—mysterious and unpredictable, defying logic. Rudraksh smiled and shook his head.

"After ruining everything, what are you smiling at?" Khushi asked, her tone filled with a mix of curiosity and irritation.

Rudraksh's smile widened as he looked at Khushi, his eyes filled with affection and a hint of mischief. He took a step closer to her, reaching out to gently hold her hands.

"I'm smiling because even though I may never fully understand what brought you two together, I can't deny the magic I see in your relationship," Rudraksh replied, his voice filled with sincerity. "You two are so different, yet you complement each other in ways that amaze me. Your love has weathered storms and stood the test of time."

Khushi's expression softened as she listened to Rudraksh's words. She sighed, her frustration melting away, replaced by a touch of nostalgia. "Love doesn't always make sense, but it's what keeps us going, even when things get tough. Shourya and I have been through our fair share of ups and downs, but we've always found a way back to each other."

Khushi leaned against Shourya, who had been silently observing the conversation. She intertwined her fingers with his and looked back at Rudraksh with gratitude. "Thank you for always being there for us, Rudra," Khushi said, her voice filled with genuine appreciation. "Even though I don't say it enough, your friendship means the world to me ,to us."

That took Rudra by surprise. Khushi was never good at expressing how important he was to her, but her actions spoke louder than words. She made sure he felt welcomed into their home, from giving him a spare key to including him in their shared adventure pictures that adorned the fridge. Rudra genuinely enjoyed spending most of his time at Shourya and Khushi's apartment. His stay in New York started to get a little lonely over time, so it made perfect sense to him to move back home. When an opportunity arose to get the apartment right above his best friends', it felt like fate. In fact, it was Khushi who discovered that Rudra's current apartment was up for sale.

With the help of Shourya and Khushi, Rudra swiftly settled into his new place, adding his personal touch to the familiar surroundings. It didn't take long for the apartment to feel like a true extension of their shared home.
