Sicheng POV

After drinks were poured and everyone's meal was finished, the party became more chill as everyone scattered. Two girls went out on the balcony, giggling with each other. Karina and Taemin went to a room—you can guess what was happening there now. Kai, Taemin's best friend, finally put a move on Winter, Mingxia's best friend, and they were now dancing together.

Speaking of the angel, she stumbled over to me, somehow not injuring herself.

"Woah, careful there," I said as she fell on top of my chest.

Mingxia giggled, then tried to sit up, leading to her almost falling off the couch. Thankfully, I caught her and she leaned her back on the couch.

"How many cups did you have?" I asked.

"Uhh, I don't know," Mingxia replied

"Okay, well don't drink any more alcohol. I'm guessing today was your first time drinking."

Mingxia nodded and I whispered to myself, "I'm surprised you haven't been influenced to drink earlier," I whispered to myself.

"What?"

"Nothing."

"Okay," she gave a big smile. She looks kind of cute when she is drunk.

"Let's get you some water," I stood up but was stopped by a tug at my sleeve.

"I want to go with you!"

I glanced down at Mingxia's face. Her cheeks were flushed with a deep shade of pink and she had a cute smile on her lips. Her stubbornness grew when she became drunk.

"You're cute," Mingxia broke the silence out of nowhere.

My eyebrows raised with surprise but I stayed silent. Eventually becoming tired, Mingxia let go of my arm and I quickly brought her a glass of cold water. I pass the water to her but she pushes away the glass and gives me a pout.

"Me no want to drink water. Me want to drink Sicheng."

"Huh?"

Mingxia giggled once again and I let out a sigh. It was tiring to try to make her drink water. I cupped her face in my hands, stopping the giggling.

"You've drunk too much alcohol Mingxia. You need to drink water," I said sternly.

She looked back at me, remaining in eye contact for a few minutes. I picked up the glass and fed her the water. After a couple of sips, she takes the glass from my hand.

"Drink it, Mingming."

"Okay, if Sicheng says so."

Mingxia finished drinking and tried to set her cup on the table. Before she could drop and break it, I took the glass from her and set it on the table. Silence filled the air until I felt something on my left shoulder. I glanced downwards and saw Mingxia asleep while resting on my shoulder.
