Tyler rushed to the cemetery, where Ghost was shouting his name. However, when Tyler arrived, he couldn't see his friend. It was only after looking around that he saw Ghost sadly huddled on top of a tombstone. Tyler approached his friend.
"Ghost," Tyler said, worried. "What's happening? I didn't take that long."
"For God's sake, it's not you," replied Ramzis, the big dog, who was sitting beside him.
The cat turned around and approached them. "What happened?" Tyler asked.
"I had a visitor," said Ramzis.
"Seriously?" exclaimed Tyler.
The dog turned his head silently, while the cat walked around him, barely containing laughter. "What is this? Is this what I think it is?" the cat said, pointing at a small inflatable fish.
"Yes," replied Ramzis. "It was a gift left for me."
"Actually, I was going to say it was a cat toy," said the cat, jokingly.
The dog responded irritably, "very funny."
"It's not funny! It's weird, yes!" Tyler said, jokingly.
He recognized the fish by the smell and soon remembered who it was from.
"As I suspected! This is so like Luis to do this!" Tyler said, laughing.
"Do you know him?" Ramzis asked.
"Yes, he bought a snack for me once," Tyler replied. "Did you thank him for it?"
"I couldn't," replied Ramzis, coldly.
"Why not? He got scared and ran away, didn't he?" Tyler said, jokingly.
"No, and thanks for making me feel worse than I already am," replied Ramzis, lying back down.
"Stop with the drama. If it's any consolation, as soon as he gave me the snack, I ran away without hesitation. We can't trust humans," Tyler said.
Ramzis soon realized the cat knew the whole neighborhood. "Maybe it's not too late!" he said.
"For what?" Tyler asked.
"You know everyone who lives around here, right?" Ramzis asked.
"Yes. Obviously," Tyler replied.
"Then you must know where he lives," Ramzis said, smiling. "I need you to take me there!"
"What? Have you gone crazy, mutt?" Tyler asked. "Which part of not trusting humans did you not understand?"
"I feel like he needs me," Ramzis said.
"No, he doesn't," Tyler replied.
"Please," Ramzis pleaded.
"Ghost, the world is not what you think! Things are different now! People are crueler!" Tyler said, worried.
"But he's not that kind of person," Ramzis insisted.
"That's what he wants you to think! In fact, that's what all humans do!" Tyler replied.
"What do you mean?" Ramzis asked.
"I was abandoned," Tyler said.
"You said you ran away from home because your place is on the streets..." Ramzis recalled.
"I know. I said a lot of nonsense. But that doesn't mean it's true," Tyler replied.
"You're joking, right?" Ramzis asked.
"No..." Tyler said, sadly.
"What happened? Why did they abandon you?" Ramzis asked.
Tyler sighed and began to tell his story. He had a human who was perfect.
