In the city, the parasite hid in the shadows of an abandoned warehouse. A homeless man entered the place to seek shelter from the cold and was killed and devoured alive.

Ramzis suggested that they climb on his back so they could arrive faster.

Arriving at the location, guided by his nose, they found blood and Sol said,

"Luis, you stay!"

"Why?" Luis asked.

"You'll finish him off," Sol replied, "as soon as the monster screams, you throw the bomb inside its mouth!"

"But," Luis said.

"We saw you in target practice. You can do it!" Matheus said.

"I'll be with you," Ramzis said.

Luis sighed in fear and said,

"Alright, I'll try it!"

Sol activated the bomb and handed it to Luis.

So, they entered the abandoned warehouse, armed with guns. Luis and Ramzis followed the trail of blood.

In the darkness, the creature attacked, and as it lunged at them, they turned on their firearms and the creature screamed.

"Now it's up to us, champ!" Luis shouted.

"Got it!" Ramzis said, running towards the creature.

Luis thought of his grandmother, friends, and his mother and threw the bomb inside the creature.

"We have to get out of here now!" Ramzis yelled.

Everyone climbed on Ramzis and managed to escape before the fire from the explosion reached them.

The impact threw both of them onto the grass, and Ramzis returned to normal. Exhausted, the Macabreus knew they had done the right thing. They had protected the Earth and overcome another challenge together.

"That was awesome, I admit," Ramzis said, smiling at his companions. "I never thought it would be fun working with you guys."

"Me neither," Sol added, looking at each member of the group. "We're an unbeatable team!"

"Seriously, we're pretty cool," Tyler said with an awkward smile.

"Of course, duh," Caio said. "We're the Macabreus!"

"Unofficial name," Luis said.

"Quit playing, dude," Caio said, and they both started laughing.

"But we need to always stay alert," Matheus warned. "We don't know what tomorrow will bring. Things are different now."

"True, but let's leave that for another day," Luis agreed. "Let's celebrate our victory!"

The group agreed and headed home.

On the way, they talked about what they had learned and discussed the future of the team.
