You were sitting in your usual spot in the local coffee store with your friend doing nothing more than you two usually would
'Kayley you never guess who just tweeted a photo of a place that's right round the corner' your best friend squealed at you across the table you two were sitting at, excitement filled your body without even knowing who it was but as soon as your friend turned her phone around butterflies filled your stomach as your jaw dropped in shear surprise
'What are you doing staring? Come on' your best friend shouted pulling you out your chair and the coffee store you were both happily sitting in not too long ago
After walking around for what seemed like ages you had given up when your friend eyes lit up as she saw something and before you had the chance to see what she was panicking for 'Matt!' had been called out by your friend as you had now noticed him further down the street. As soon as his head turned you had locked eye contact with him and suddenly everything felt like a dream and you were just waiting to wake up in your bedroom and for this all to be a fangirl dream but it wasn't, nothing about this situation was a dream
'Sexual tension much' you friend nudged you in the side laughing as he hurried over to you both but your throat ran dry and you couldn't think of a smart remark of the top of your head so you just smiled at her
'Hiya are you fans by any chance?' you were both unable to form a proper sentence so you just nodded at him 'I'm Kayley' you smiled going back into a trance as he chuckled to himself 'do you want a hug?' 'w-what?' you stuttered turning a deep red as the words escaped your mouth 'do you want a hug?' he said chuckling lightly as you slowly nodded. His tall frame wrapped around you and you relaxed to the smell of his cologne
'I don't really do this but can I have your Twitter?' he asked with rose tinted cheeks but you just smiled and nodded as he passed you his phone as you followed yourself 'there you go' you smiled handing his phone back 'well thanks beautiful' he replied which only silenced you once again 'she usually talks more than this, trust me you usually can't get her to shut up' your friend laughed as you hit her as he laughed
He checked his watch and his eyes grew 'shit! I'm sorry girls but I've kind of got to go now I'm so sorry' he rushed as he jogged down the road leaving you
You and your friend just stared at one another before breaking into what seemed like another language to people walking past but you both understood what each other was saying

You had left your friend and was laying on your bed just scrolling through Twitter and Instagram until you noticed a new DM from Matt which read 'this is abit forward but if it was up to me I'd see you tomorrow but I'm busy so how about I pick you up for a date around 5 the next day? Sound good? X' you sat smiling at your phone before you agreed to the date and called your friend up to tell her the news
