Your life with Matt was already pretty hectic but now with a baby, it was far far worse
Although the majority of the work was done by you it didn't mean Matt didn't help out at all, whenever he had spare time he would always take the baby off your hands or do something fun with both of you
Your daughter's cries fill the room as you start to get up but Matt puts his hand on your arm 'don't worry babe, I got this' he whispers leaving the room but after a few minutes you can't help but go check on them both
They're both laying in your daughter's bed snuggled up asleep so you grab a blanket for Matt that wouldn't leave his feet hanging out the end but as you place the blanket over him his eyes flutter open 'climb in' he smiles lifting the blanket up 'we're not gonna fit' you laugh at the inch gap as he pouts climbing out but your daughter grabs his hand 'daddy stay' she snuffles 'let's all go to mummy's and daddy's bed because it's bigger' you smile as he picks her up and placing her softly on your bed as you both climb in either side and drift off into a deep sleep
