'Daddy I had a scary dream and now I can't get back to sleep' in your half asleep state you hear your daughter tell Matt and him quietly shh her and pick her up and into bed 'be careful not to wake mummy up, she's really tired' you hear him moan as an ear to ear smile appears on your face 'mummys already awake' you smile at them both as they apologise quickly 'no need for apologies, wanna talk about it princess?' you ask your daughter who nods and snuggles into Matt who kisses her head and plays with her hair, in the same way he does with yours which causes you to smile
You notice Matt's eyes beginning to close so you whisper for your daughter to shuffle over to your side 'look at daddy, baby. he's fallen asleep' you laugh quietly as she joins in 'do you love daddy a lot?' she asks as you nod 'yep, I'd say more than just a lot though' she looks at you confused 'see I love you and daddy more than just a lot, I would give anything to see you two happy and healthy' she huffs 'I hope I find someone who loves me as much as daddy loves you and you love daddy' 'me too' you kiss her temple as Matt's hand grabs yours and his fingers intertwine with yours 'hey baby, I heard all of that and guess what? I love you y/n, more than life itself' 'I love you too Matt' you smile at him kissing your knuckles
'look I don't know about my two beautiful ladies but I'm not tired at all anymore' you and your daughter shake your heads no 'well then my beautiful girls, let's have a sleepover' you giggle at his childishness as your daughter jumps up and down on the bed
You slip out of bed and run downstairs to make some hot chocolate for you all and grab some snacks for the sleepover going on upstairs, you walk in to find your daughter curled up at the end of the bed with your dog watching the film whilst you slip in next to Matt who just pulls you into his chest 'I love you Matt and oh, cheers to our beautiful baby girl' he smiles as you hit your mugs full of hot chocolate together 'cheers to a beautiful wife and family, I love you both more than anything or anyone'
