The One-night Stand

Harry spent the time Lee was sleeping during the day on Friday packing his belonging. Most of his stuff was already in boxes out in the shed.

He filled the kiddy pool with water and Lee splashed water and giggled. It was a warm day so it was a perfect way to keep him cool and entertained.

Louis called in the afternoon to ask which restaurant was the best in Holmes Chapel and Harry suggested The George & Dragon. Louis booked a table at six o'clock, having Lee's best interest since their son went to bed at eight.

Harry spent most of Saturday getting ready. He knew it wasn't a date but he hadn't been to a restaurant with someone else than his family since before he got pregnant and he was really looking forward to it.

Louis showed up a half hour early and immediately reached for Lee who willingly let him pick him up. They walked around in the garden and Louis pointed att different things and said the word. Harry watched them with a smile on display. He could easily imagine a life where this was common but Louis wasn't his mate so he should ignore thoughts like that before it became damaging.

They headed to the restaurant and were shown to a table. The waiter fetched a baby stool and Louis placed Lee in it.

The dinner was lovely. Lee was on his best behavior and Harry and Louis talked about all sorts of things.

When they had finished their meal they stayed put until Lee showed signs of getting tired. Louis paid for the meal and they headed back to Harry's family home.
"Do you wanna help me get him ready for bed?" Harry offered.

Louis immediately lit up with a breathtaking happy smile.
"I'd love to!"

They headed inside and Louis greeted Harry's mum and stepdad before they walked upstairs. Louis got to change his first diaper and he couldn't look more proud.

Harry's mum came up with a bottle of formula and Harry gave it to Louis who took a seat in the armchair and fed Lee. Harry just watched him. His inner omega was purring. He found the situation extremely sexy for some reason.

Lee fell asleep in Louis' arms and he put him in his crib and pulled the cover over him. They just stood in silence for a moment and watched him sleep before they walked out of the room.
"Oli's furniture is in storage now so you can move in whenever you want." Louis said.

"That went fast." Harry commented.

"I thought you might want the week to settle in before you start working and Lee should meet me mum so he feels safe with her, unless you have other plans for him?" Louis said.

"I'm sure your mother is lovely. It's a great idea. I was worried about putting him in daycare already. Can I make my final decision after meeting her tomorrow?" Harry asked.

"Of course." Louis agreed.

"Thank you. I guess I'll take a trailer tomorrow and leave early so I can start to move into the house. Which time is dinner?" Harry wondered.

"Me mum asked us to come over at five so she could meet you and Lee before we eat. I can help you move tomorrow." Louis offered.

"You don't have to do that." Harry protested.

"I want to. If I bring a trailer as well do you think we can fit all of your stuff?" Louis wondered.

"Yeah, I think so." Harry answered.

"Great! I'll show up at ten and I'll ask some friends of mine to help us carry the stuff inside if that's okay with you? Then it will be done quickly." Louis smiled.

"Yeah, okay. I'll bring my mum and stepdad. They can look after Lee and take the trailer back to Holmes Chapel." Harry said.

"Sounds like a plan. Thank you for a wonderful evening. I better get on the road. I'll see you tomorrow then." Louis said and Harry followed him to his car. Louis drove off.

Harry talked to his mum and stepdad and they both agreed to help him move the next day. Harry went to bed.

Louis showed up at ten as promised with a trailer attached to his car. Harry and his stepdad had woken up early to load the trailer with his stuff. Louis immediately went to work after he gave Lee a hug. Harry's stepdad Robin and Louis carried Harry's bed down the stairs and put it in Louis' trailer. Then they emptied the nursery.

When all of Harry's belongings were packed an hour later they got in their cars and drove to Doncaster. Robin drove their car with the trailer, while Anne rode in the back of Harry's car to keep an eye on Lee.
"So how are you feeling? There's a lot of big changes in such a short time."

"I'm okay. I'm glad that Lee will have two parents growing up, but it will take some time to adjust to everything." Harry said.

"For what it's worth, I like Louis. I can see how much he already adores Lee." Anne smiled.

"Yeah." Harry agreed.

"And the two of you? Are you gonna give it a try?" Anne asked.

"I think his girlfriend would have a problem with that. No, mum. We're just friends, which is a good thing. It will make it easier for Lee." Harry replied.

"Alright." Anne replied.

When they arrived at the house three men were waiting on the driveway. Louis got out and greeted them all with a hug.
"Guys, this is Harry. Harry these are me friends, Liam, Zayn, and Niall."

Harry shook their hands and introduced his family. Liam was an alpha, and Zayn and Niall were betas. Louis had gotten Lee out of the car seat. He brought him over.
"And this is Leander, or Lee, me son well Harry's too of course." He said proudly.

Lee was shy and hid his face against Louis' chest while the three friends cooed. Lee made grabby hands at Harry and Louis handed him over.

They started to unload the stuff from the trailers. Harry mostly pointed to different rooms while he held Lee. He handed him over to his mum when he wasn't shy anymore and helped carry smaller boxes. They had emptied the trailers in no time.
"Thanks, guys! I owe you dinner!" Louis said.

"As long as you're not trying to cook it we'll take you up on that offer." Niall smirked.

They all ruffled Lee's hair fondly and said goodbye before they left. Harry's mum and stepdad stayed a while longer to help him unpack boxes before they headed back to Holmes Chapel. Harry had a dinner to attend and he was super nervous.
