It had been at least a year or so, and Matthew Hawke had made quite a name for himself in the city, also found new companions who followed him with unquestionable loyalty. I watched on occasion, as his rise to recognition amongst all the others caught my curiosity. He had lost his brother during his trip to the deep roads, which had earned my silent sympathies. I always traveled around with my cloak on and hood up, but this time, I left it in my pack; leaving me unrecognizable by many. I was wearing a black corset and black armored pants with shin high boots, my moonlight silver hair high up in a ponytail with bangs over my right eye, my daggers at my sides. Blue tribal tattoos decorated my arms, hands, torso, cheeks, legs, and feet; only showing on my arms, torso, and my left cheek.

As I walked around Darktown, I suddenly heard, "Hey, is that Lia?" Behind me, causing me to whip around, my eyes wide with surprise. Matthew Hawke. "It is!" Happily, he trotted up to meet me. "Who else has those gorgeous red eyes?" Then he looked me over, his eyes running the length of my body down, then back up. "And you're stunning..."

"It has been quite a while, Matthew." I greeted back, standing stiffly straight, my jaw locking.

"Uh, Hawke," Spoke a tall strawberry blonde haired male. "How do you know Lia..?" He asked, making Matthew look between him and me.

"And how exactly do you know Hawke, healer Anders?" Said man cringed and shrunk behind Hawke.

"Well, looks like the mage is afraid of a woman and an elf, no less." A voice spoke from behind the both of them.

"Shut it, elf!" Anders snapped. Raising an eyebrow, I watched as a white haired male elf walked up next to Matthew, markings decorating his arms, neck, and two little marks on his chin. Feeling my heart skip a beat, I blinked and fixed my look into a stoic one.

"Why are you here, Hawke?"

"Well, we were on our way to do a quest, but-" He began, Anders slapping a hand over his mouth.

"Don't tell her!" Anders hissed.

"The abomination forgot poultices for our quest." The elf finished. I gave a 'you moron' look in the healer's direction

"Who begins a quest without poultices?"

Anders sighed and scoffed, "Apparently, I do."

"Right, well, enjoy gentleman." As I walked past them, I heard a gasp, knowing exactly what that gasp meant.

"Lia will you-"

"No!" Both Anders and I said at the same time.

"I agree, we do not need another pair of troublesome hands." The white haired elf nodded.

"Oh, how little you know," Anders muttered, "Lia would be a very valuable asset next to you and Hawke." He told the elf.
