As I looked around Lowtown, I grew increasingly irritated, Varric wasn't specific enough in his location, and Fenris was nowhere to be seen. I was about ready to give up my search and just hope he showed up at the Hanged Man. As I turned the corner, I froze, quickly hiding back behind it. Fenris stood in front of one of the stands in the Bazaar, looking intently for something; finally, he lifted up one of the necklaces. My heart stopped, it was the necklace I looked at when we passed by with Hawke on the way back to the Qunari compound. The merchant was trying to chat with him, but Fenris glared him into silence, then words were silently exchanged before he handed the man a sovereign, and walked towards my general direction. With widening eyes, I sprinted straight to the Hanged Man.

I might as well get her a gift, right? At least, that's how Hawke described I should show my feelings. I'm not even sure Lia likes jewelry, considering I never see her wear any. But she did have her eye on only one, which was why I was in the Bazaar, tolerating a merchants mindless babble as I lifted up a necklace. It was black and in the shape of a heart, with a royal purple jewel hanging in the middle of it; rubies decorated the black heart like blood droplets. I had seen her stare at it with longing in her eyes, she was paid well, but she has a reputation on uphold inside our tiny little group. I smiled as I remembered the hard time Lia had not frantically gazing at the stand to see if 'her' necklace was still there. I sent a glare in the rambling merchant's direction, shutting him up almost immediately before handing him one sovereign and walking away.
