(Fenris's P.O.V)

My head pounded as I opened my eyes to the light. After the game had ended last night, I had to bring Hawke home, eventually I made it home myself, feeling even more exhausted than usual. Groaning, I sat up while rubbing my forehead and began to dress, Hawke would most likely be by later to drag me on another quest. After dressing and readying my weapon, I made my way down the steps, only to have my door open as soon as I reached the bottom step; Lia sweeping in not a second after. Scowling, I lowered my raised weapon and sighed. "Must you be a bother so early in the morning?" My voice seemed to have startled her, she visibly jumped and gasped.

"I had thought this mansion abandoned!" She gaped, "What are you doing here?"

"I live here, if it wasn't apparent." I replied blatantly, setting my weapon back on my back and crossed my arms. She scoffed before snorting in amusement.

"Apparently it wasn't."

"Why are you here, anyway?"

"I just finished a job for my client." It was then I noticed a rather too pleasant smirk spreading across her face.

"And what job is that?"

"Haven't you payed attention to anything I said last night?"

"No, I found you rather stuck up and annoying, like a magister without the magic." The answer was honest and unpleasant, given her facial expression changing to one of disgust and hurt.

"Watch it, elf," Lia's features calmed as she crossed her arms, "I am an assassin, a rather well known one as well."

"Funny, I have never heard of you." Chuckles bubbled up my throat and past my lips as her cheeks puffed out in annoyance. "And with what weapons did you commit this crime with? I see none on you." Her smirk returned as she walked towards me, her cloak slightly billowing around her.

"Oh believe me, dear Fenris, I have weapons hidden everywhere on me, just none that are visible. I wouldn't be much of an assassin otherwise."

"Evidently..."

"But there is only one weapon I prefer to use with this kind of job, and public fighting as well." I knew exactly which weapon she was speaking of, that blasted scythe from the quest against the Tal-Vashoth. Sure enough, it appeared in her hand and she brandished it to me as if it were a trophy.

"I am not impressed, if that is the reaction you want of me."

"It isn't," She smiled, for the first time since we met, she giggled, "I was actually hoping to learn more of you, and Hawke praises your skill more than any other in the group. Well, except Anders and his handy healing abilities, it made me curious." With a snort, I looked her dead in the eye, the only eye she showed to the world, the one that sparkled like a rose after the rain.

"And what makes you think I want to tell you?"

"Because you're curious too, otherwise I wouldn't have been interrogated as soon as I set foot in here, you would have just killed me." She had me there. With a sigh, I motioned towards the door.

"Shall we walk, then?"
