(Third Person P.O.V)
Hailana sat on the banister of Hawke's balcony, watching him and the others eat and make jokes. It had been a year since the eleven warrior/rogue turned into the elder goddess, her relations with Lia's lover and friends had been choppy; though Varric, Isabela, and Aedan had all been easy enough to get along with. Anders wasn't so accepting at first, but eventually enjoyed her company. Hawke had been surprised at her lack of sleep, she would be up all night and all day, only sleeping three or four hours the next night. As she watched, she noticed Fenris wasn't there, he never was when she was around the band of misfits, whenever he saw her; he would turn and immediately go back the way he came.
"Hey, Hailiana!" Hawke called up to her, earning her thoughtful gaze.
"Hmm?"
"Come down and eat with us!"
Shaking her head, Hailiana smiled. "No, I believe I will go see Aedan and Orsino." Jumping off the banester, Hailiana landed on the floor with a soft 'tut'.
"Oh, alright." Hawke shrugged. A chorus of goodbyes came from the rest of the band; with the exception of Aedan and Fenris. Nodding, the silver haired goddess made her way from the mansion.
Hailiana walked around Hightown after leaving Hawke's, deciding it would be better to just walk and clear her mind than to talk to the eleven enchanter. Stopping when she heard a noise behind her, Hailiana sighed. "What is it, Fenris?" She asked, keeping her eyes trained forward with a bored expression. "Are you going to keep following me every time I enter or leave somewhere?" There was no response to her question, only a low snarl.
"Bring her back, you may not remain here any longer." Amusement flicked across Hailiana's features as she turned to face the white haired elf, a smile once again gracing her lips.
"You mean Lia, do you not, Fenris?"
"Yes, I want Lia back, not this shell of a dead woman in her place." Fenris growled.
"That's not a polite way of requesting me, boy." Hailiana warned, a bit of a snip in her voice.
"Bring. Lia. Back, now!" He demanded louder.
"She willing allowed me out."
"This is her life! Her freedom!" He argued, "I will not stand by while a second abomination ruin her life!"
Light, almost malicious laughter filled the night air. "How adorable can you be, my dear Fenris. Surely you must know the consequences for arguing with a goddess."
"No, I don't, but I do not care." Hailiana closed her eyes, Lia appearing before her.
"He wants you back." She told the younger woman.
"I know..."
"Do you want to go back?" Hailiana asked softly.
"It has been a year...right?" Lia questioned, the eleven goddess chuckled.
"Yes," She smiled, "I forgot time doesn't pass in the fade in the same way it does in real life, so I am not surprised you don't know."
Lia looked down, thinking.
"They all miss you. Well, except for Anders, he seems to slightly enjoy you being gone."
"But he loves me." Lia couldn't help but smile and chuckle.
"He loves his lover more." Hailiana informed her.
"Anders and Hawke got together?!" Lia cheered in surprise, Haliana nodding. "That's good!"
"This boy...will you go back?"
"Hmm.." Lia looked down, "Yes.." With those words, Lia walked over to Hailiana, joining and switching places with her in a flash of bright light.
(Fenris' P.O.V)
I watched for the second time as a bright flash of light engulfed Hailiana after five minutes of silence, making my heart leap into my throat. As the flash disipated and disappeared, it left a young woman in it's place. I was frozen, emotions I couldn't name swirling around inside my heart, thoughts, questions, things I wanted to scream at her filled my brain. Lia stared at me, noticing my open mouth and shock in my forest green eyes.
"Fenris.." She spoke in a soft voice, making my heart melt, one thing I adored her for, that beautiful voice that no elven goddess could compare to.
"Why did you leave?!" Right in on the yelling as soon as I could speak. Lia huffed, crossing her arms across her chest, her hip sticking out.
"Well excuse me! I didn't know you'd miss me!"
"Venhidis!" I swore, "What did you think? that I would celebrate your leaving and court that thing in your place?!" With each arguement made, I took a step closer to her.
"Well, yeah!" Now we were toe to toe, both of us being the same height.
"Then you are a fool." I practically whispered to her, making her turn a bright shade of pink.
"Yeah..." Warm lips found my cold ones in a passionate, longing kiss.
"All is forgiven." I smirked when we pulled back from each other, pulling her into a close embrace, hugging her tightly.
(Lia's P.O.V)
I half expected him to start growling "Mine." By how tight he was squeezing me.
"I love you, you dumb ass." I muttered, hitting his shoulder lightly.
He responded with a tender, "I am yours." And kissed my head.
"Hailiana said we couldn't hide our secret any longer. It was actually a plot to see if your feelings were the same as mine, given your little outburst." Fenris glared at the nearest wall, clever little minx I was.
"It was a year. I had worried your abomination had eliminated your existence, as she said."
"Nope." I smiled, looking up and kissing him again, Fenris replying back eagerly.
"Then I am glad." He said softly when he pulled back.
