(Lia's P.O.V)

Beams of morning sunlight peeked through the window curtains, the balcony door wide open, letting in fresh air. Rose red eyes opened to birds flying around inside the room. I yawned and clapped loudly, scaring off the winged creatures. Fixing my moonlight silver hair back into a high ponytail, I fixed my bangs to hang over my right eye like always. Sitting up, I touched my bare feet to the cold wooden floor. "Good morrow, Hawke!" I yelled loud enough for it to be heard through out the mansion as I left my room.

"Ah! Good morrow, Lia!" Came his response from somewhere downstairs. Making my way down the steps, I felt a feeling of suspicion form in the pit of my stomach. Bodhan came out of the library with a breakfast tray, jumping in surprise when he saw me.

"Oh, good morrow serah! Master Matt is with a guest, they await you." He informed me.

"Do they now..?" I asked sarcastically. "Very well, dismissed Bodhan."

"Yes Messere."

Walking into the library, I wandered up the steps. Fenris stood surrounded by guards, an older male sitting down across from Matt, he looked to be a mage; given the staff on his back. "What is this?!" I yelled.

"Oh, so this is the refined beauty you spoke of, my pet." The elder male looked up to Fenris.

"Yes..." He answered, his tone and expression holding defeat. The man stood up and walked over to me, I stood straight up and tilted my head back proudly,my nose slightly in the air.

"You are the one who gave my pet false hope of escape, of freedom, huh?"

"Hello, Danarius, nice to finally meet the asshole who ruined my close friend's life."

"Now Fenris, you had not told me this one had a mouth. Feisty little thing she is." Before Danarius touched me, I grabbed his wrist and flipped him up over my shoulder, he himself landing on his back with a sickening 'crack!', I saw Fenris's eyes go wide as he bit back a smirk.

"Tell me what is going on here!"

"Lia, I'm giving Fenris back over to Danarius." Matt explained. My eyes widened, snapping into narrowed slits as I glared at Matt with my one uncovered eye. Danarius stood up with small grunts and hisses, holding his lower back.

"Lia, please," Fenris spoke up, "Do not risk death over me."

"Hush!" I snarled.

"Here, I found this in my little pet's armor ware, seems he is fonder of you then he lets on, eh?" The elder magister took something from his pocket and chucked it at me, which I caught with ease, it was the necklace I had seen Fenris buy. "It also seems without his strength in numbers, he's back to my little Fenris once more." Standing straight, I gave Danarius a determined look.

"I will go with him as well."

"Lia n-" Fenris began to shout before I held up my hand.

"You peak my curiosity, my little dove, what price shall you fetch me?" Danarius smirked, crossing his arms in thoughtful interest.

"None, my only condition is you will allow me to stay by Fenris's side, and I will serve you," I bowed to one knee, "Master." I spoke in Arcanum, I saw Fenris begin a silent up roar through the look in his eyes.

Danarius laughed loudly with amusement. "This is grand, is it not Fenris?! She will serve me well," He grinned, "And she will indeed stay at your side, I am not without my word."

Standing, I nodded my head. "Master."

"We leave for Minrathos within the hour, my dear." He informed me, having us follow him out.

(Fenris' P.O.V)

How could she do this?! When I saw her bow to my former master, I went on a silent internal rampage. "You fool!" I hissed and spat to Lia as we followed our 'master' out of Hawke's estate. When she didn't respond, I shot my head over to look at her, seeing her determined look returning, I then knew a plan was forming in her head. My eyes widened with the realization, 'By Andraste's flaming sword, she was putting on an act!' "Venhidas, Fasta vass!" I growled, swearing in Arcanum. Danarius looked over his shoulder at me, seeing my silent enraged scowl. Lia next to me still remained silent, formulating her plan.

(Lias' P.O.V)

'Now would be perfect,' I thought, 'Abandoned Lowtown alley, mage magister, many guards; which won't be a problem. If I strike now, I may have a chance.' "Master stop!" I called, diving to push Danarius out of 'danger', meanwhile shoving my daggers down into both his shoulders, making him call out in agony. "He has been hit!" I called as I scrambled up.

The gaurds one by one rushed to their employers side, there I impaled their necks with my daggers, soon leaving only the elder mage; Fenris blinking back his surprise. "Fenris." I snapped my fingers, gaining his full attention. "I left him for you." His grin grew feral and dangerous as he walked over and ripped Danarius up into the air, the daggers tearing all the way through his shoulders.

"You are no longer my master!" He snarled in a tone that caused me to flinch with slight fear. I watched as his hand phased through Danarius's chest, holding it there. He was gripping his former master's heart.

(Fenris' P.O.V)

I...I did it...As I held my former master's slowly beating heart in my hand, my mind reeled from the sudden anger and happiness I felt mixing inside me. Quickly, I crushed Danarius's heart and tore my hand out of his chest. He fell back on the ground, dead as the blood gushed from his chest. The world spun around me, suddenly making me feel sick. "Excuse me.." I told Lia, who was picking up and cleaning off her daggers as I ran out of the alley and around the corner. Bile rose in my throat, forcing me to spit it into the dirt, all my emotions were overwhelming me; making me wrench and vomit again. I felt a hand on my back, gently beginning to rub small circles between my shoulder blades

"Relax, it is alright. It's over...it's over..." Lia spoke in Arcanum.

"I am free...am I?" I asked, wiping my mouth, my voice hoarse.

"Are you?" She repeated, continuing to gently rub my back. My body calmed, the dry heaves stopping.

"I...am unsure...What I am..."

"Well, let us be unsure somewhere else, the longer we linger, the more we'll be suspected."

"I doubt it." I snorted, causing her to huff and sit back on her heels.

"Oh, I don't know, the blood bathing your arm and my daggers may give our obvious guilt away."

"Point taken, let us go." I croaked before standing up and leading Lia off.
