"About time you got here Fen-oh, you brought Lia with you." Hawke blinked in shock as we stepped inside his mansion.

"Yes, I discovered her trying to hide in my mansion after one of her jobs were complete." Fenris replied, Hawke looking to me with a raised eyebrow.

"Don't ask, because I will not answer." I said simply, seeing Fenris smirk from behind him.

"Well, anyway, we're going out of Kirkwall for a little fun, being as i'm actually free; for tonight anyway." Fenris gave Hawke an 'are you serious?' type of look.

"This is what you brought me here for?"

"Oh come on, Fenris, you can afford some down time." Hawke tried to calm the elf down as he began to fume, "There will be no slavers, Merrill is going to bring us to a hidden part of Sundermount, she says there are healing hot springs there." I perked up a little at the thought, which drew both their surprised looks.

"What?" I asked, "Just because I'm an assassin, doesn't make me any less a woman."

"That is evident." I heard Fenris mutter under his breath as he turned from me.

"Does that mean you're coming along, Lia?" Hawke smiled, a mischievous glint in his eye.

"If I may, after I receive my payment from my client for this morning's near botch."

"You almost botched?" They both stared at me again.

"The client lied about the location of the target, so I had to change plans and nearly got caught." I spat bitterly, glaring into the fire in the hearth.

"That is why you hid in my home."

"Yea-"

"-Hawke, we're here!" A light cheery female voice called, a minute later Merrill, Varric, Isabela, Anders, and Sebastian all walked into the foyer. They all looked to me like I had just popped out of a hole in the wall, Anders groaned, rubbing his face.

"She's coming along?"

"I am, is there a problem?" I crossed my arms and raised an eyebrow.

"Don't you have people to murder somewhere?"

"And don't you have Templars to be-" Hawke covered my mouth as the mage's skin cracked with a blue light.

"Don't bring up Templars." He whispered, I ripped his hand away from my mouth as I snarled at Anders.

"I'm well aware." I hissed.

"Oh dear," Varric sighed, "Looks like we have another broody elf."

"Not brooding!" Fenris and I yelled in unison.

"My point's proven." He grinned.

"Ugh, Merrill, hot springs, Sundermount, let's head out." Merrill perked up when I said her name.

"O-oh okay." She scurried from the foyer, Fenris sighed, rubbing his forehead as he followed the others and I out of Hawke's estate.

"I see something..blue." Anders stood proudly, knowing no one would guess what he was seeing.

"Is it Fenris's underclothes?" Isabela purred, I looked over to see her staring at his backside; I grumbled and looked forward again, noticing Varric looking at me over his shoulder with a small smirk plastered on his face.

"Not. One, word..." I mouthed to him, making him chuckle and look forward again, striking up a conversation with Matthew.

"No-o." Anders cringed in disgust.

"Good, I don't need you of all people looking at my ass, mage." Fenris snarled in irritation from ahead of us.

"I wouldn't even dream of it, may the maker strike me down if I did."

"Only If I do not strike you first, mage." I chuckled, listening to the two of them go back and forth at each other.

"Is it Lia's markings?" Merrill asked, receiving a nod from Anders, "Yay!" She cheered, I rolled my eyes and scoffed silently; crossing my arms and looking off into the distance.

"Where did you get those markings, anyway, Lia? I can't imagine them being branded into you like Fenris's." Sebastian piped up from his silent place next to Varric, I didn't answer and for a few moments, the group walked in silence.

"They weren't," I finally spoke, my voice quiet, "They were a gift from my father before he died, to celebrate my joining into womanhood, they were tattooed onto me with ink he stole from a magister. They pretty much set the course for my life as I grew older." Pain crippled my heart at the memory of my father's soft smile as he presented the ink and information to me, of how glad I was to receive them. "My mother did the rest across my chest and abdomen." By the time I stopped talking, my voice was cracking, showing I wished to speak no more of it.

"I'm sorry, I should not have asked, Lia." Sebastian frowned with his apology. I only shook my head.

"No need, it would have come up eventually, and it's in the past. Nothing can be changed now." Looking over, I saw Fenris and Anders smiling sadly at me, then they both looked away with growing blushes; Fenris's ears turning a bright shade of pink.
