It's almost afternoon when we reach the beach.
We ran in the beach front, it was sunset.
"OH MY GOD." that's all I can say.
It was amazing. No words can describe how beautiful this place is, the fine white sand on my feet, the cold summer breeze in my face, and this beautiful sky.
This is my heaven.
He pulled me down the sand, we sat there watching the sun goes down.
"It's worth it." Everything was worth it.
"I know." He said, looking at me intently. I can feel his gaze at me. I tried catching him looking at me, but he looked away too fast
"So, what are our plans? What are we gonna do here?" I asked.
"First, lets get a room." He said. He offered his hand to pull me up, and I welcomed his hand.
I stood up. But our hands remained inter twinned.
"Where will we stay?" I asked him.
"Just follow me." He said.
We walked through the beach, passed through the other hotels.
"Hey, let me pay for the hotel this time, ok?" I said.
His brown frowned.
"Why would I do that?" He said, serious.
"Well, you paid for the transportation. i cannot let you pay for everything"
"I did not ask for payment." He said.
"But, I cannot let you pay for everything." I said.
"We'll think of something else to do." He said.
I let go of his hand, and cover myself.
"If your thinking of sex, believe me you'll break all of your bones before you can even lay a finger on me" I threatened him.
He smiled at me.
"We will stay here." He said. He offered his hand to me, and I just stick my tongue like a five year old to him.
"This is my family's house, no need to break other people's bones now." He said.
"Your family's house?" I looked at him.
"Yep, My mother's vacation house." He said.
"You have a vacation house in Boracay." I said. This guys is definitely LOADED.
He held my hand, and I look at him.
"Can I?" he asked, but still was not letting go.
"well, you already are." I told him, and he smiled even wider.
We went closer to their vacation house, it was very simple still has the beach house vibe.
"Hi Manong Karding!" He greeted the guy inside the fence. The man looked at him, surprised, and then ran to us.
"Senyorito! Magandang hapon po. Naku, pasok po kayo..." manong karding told us, he opened door for us.
"Naku, senyorito... sandali at magpapahanda lang ako ng merienda kay misis."
"Its ok manong karding. And you dont need to call me senyorito anymore." He said.
"Pero senyorito..."
"Manong karding... this is my..." he said and looked at me.
Your what? I wanted to ask.
"This is aya, she will be our guest here."
"Ay... kamusta po senyorita aya..."
How did he know my name???
"Hello manong karding, aya nalang po" he seems to be a nice guy, although he kinda look at us differently.
"Manong karding, can you please bring us to our rooms now?" He asked politely.
"Ofcourse, senyorito." He said.
"Ay sorry senyorito, ay sir... nalilito na ako sa dapat itawag ko sayo". We all laughed.
"Dont worry. You'll figure it out." He said, and tapping Mang Carding's back, they smiled at each other.
"Senyorita"
"Aya, Manong Carding" i told with a smile.
"Hahaha oo nga po pala, aya alika at dadalin na kita sa kwarto mo." He said.
"Ok salamat po." I walked to follow Mang Carding, and realised that are hands are still intertwined.
I looked at him, and smiled.
"You wont let go?" I joked.
"Never." He said, and pulled me to follow Mang Carding.
When he said never, my heart felt a little strange. It beat faster, and yet I felt a little pain.
All of a sudden, he's memory struck me.
He used to hold my hand before, he used to say it feels like heaven.
He also said, to hold my hand forever.
It was a hard lesson to learn, in life there were no forever.
That not because someone is affectionate, means they love you.
Sometimes, their just too sweet.
Sometimes, their just too kind.
But most of the time, your heart tells you a different story than what the mind can see.
I hate this feeling. I dont want this feeling.
And then I wonder, this stranger who's holding my hand, who made me go to places I have never been, whom I gave my first kiss...
What does he feel...
Who is he...
Or just to make it less dramatic, what the hell is his name, how come he knows my name and i dont.
