"close your eyes" he said.
"King, I hate surprises" I told him.
"I know, but please just this once?" he said.
I took a deep breath, and he covered my eyes with a handkerchief.
"where are you exactly taking me?" I told him.
"Just wait a minute" he said, and put earphones in my ears.
"King..." I wanted to stop him, but I know how much he loves surprises
Oh my big kid, he's forever young.
The music started playing in the background
"Someday, when I'm awfully low,
When the world is cold,
I will feel a glow just thinking of you,
And the way you look tonight"
I smiled with the song, I never pictured him with this kind of music
Since the day I have met him, he never failed to surprise me
And he's the best surprise God has given me in my life
I felt the car stop, I wanted to take off the cover in my eyes
But he immediately stopped me,
"behave" he whispered to my ears, I felt ticklish and I could not stop myself pout
Then I felt his soft lips to mine
It was a quick peck in the lips, I could imagine his face, grinning from ear to ear
He held my hand, and guide me to go out of his car
He crossed his hands in my hands, and I felt safe
We walked slowly, a few more minutes and he put his arms around me
He secured me with his reassuring nudge in my shoulders
He guide me to sit on a bench
The wind was cold, and I felt him walk away
"King" I called him, but he didn't answer
"KING!" I'm getting more anxious every second he's not with me
"KING! Im taking it off!" I warned him, but still he did not answer
"Jerk" I got annoyed,a nd pull out the earphones from my ears.
Then I heard a yukalele playing – it was the same song (author's note: please see play the video above, while reading)
"Someday when I'm awfully low, and the world is cold,
I will feel the glow, just thinking of you, and the way you look tonight"
"Yes, you're lovely, with your smile so warm,
And your cheeks so soft, there is nothing for me but to – love you
And the way you look tonight" he continue to sing, he was looking intently at me.
"With each words your tenderness grows, tearin' my fear apart
