Awkward

Everyone was silent on the breakfast table, but everyone was glaring at my King, but he looks oblivious of the moment.

Our hands were under the table, and never letting go.

We both have this crazy smile on our faces on which we cannot take away. It would have been perfect if it was just us, without my lovable over protective brothers...

And my close friend, whom I love... used to love.

I can feel andre's eyes on me, he looks concerned, hurt?

Why would he be?

There was 2 seconds that our eyes met, and then I looked away.

"Handa na po ang pagkain, magustuhan niyo po sana" mang karding said.

"Thanks mang karding" King said.

"Salamat mang karding, mukha pong masarap" I commended him, he smiled at us and left the room.

"Let's start" King said.

As I was about to get food, Andre took my plate, and everyone looked at us, he started to put food on my plate.

My heart skipped a beat. This was just like old times, he would always put food on my plate first, before preparing for his own.

I instantly felt touched and annoyed at the same time, this are the type of bullshit that made me fall for him before.

"Andre, its okay. I can do it" I told him.

"No worries, Im used to doing this"
He added casually.

I looked at King, and he's face was pristine but I could feel in his smile that he does not like what Andre said.

"You dont have to do it for her" King said and took the plate from Andre.

They glared at each other. And I was at the perfect spot, right at the center of the typhoon.

"Not anymore." King said casually eith a smile.

King proceed to putting food on my plate.

"She doesn't like ampalaya" andre added, when king tried getting ampalaya omellete.

"She hates fish cooked as soup, doesn't eat goat meat and she's dont like any spicy food" andre all point out. He was right, and I can feel him mocking king.

"It's okay king, this is enough" I said, I took the plate from him.

I held his hand under the table, and gave it a little squeeze.

He put milk in my glass, on which Andre pointed out.

"She cant drink milk, she's lactose intolerant. Dont you know anything about your "girlfriend" " he said.

"I know I love her and she loves me, that's a good start dont you think?" He said mocking andre.

My brothers were all smiling, they seem to be enjoying this. Good for them.

Atleast someone's enjoying this, because I dont.

After we ate, kuya timothy said.

"So when are you coming back? You cant stay here forever" he said.

"Can I stay a little bit longer?" I asked kuya lee, who surprisingly been too understanding.

"We will be here, as long as you are here." Kuya allen said.

"But..."

"We love you aya, but the world can go down, but there is no way in hell we will let the two of you alone here." Kuya timothy said.
