In life, we all have experienced a crossroad.

Live or die. Fight or move on. Make it or break it.

Those kind of situation.

But, I guess I have made mine already.

I kept staring at her face, I never got tired staring at her face.

We only see each other at night, after her family left and our new unexpected alliance let me in the hospital after visiting hours.

"Sleep already" I told her.

"I want to see you more" she said while pouting.

"I'll be here when you wake up" I told her.

"Tsk tsk tsk so this is why your always sleeping in the morning, I got worried it was an effect from the medicines." Kuya Allen said, reappearing out of nowhere.

"Don't pop out of nowhere! You scared the life out of me!" Aya said, snarling at her brother.

"You got startled because you were too afraid you'd get caught" he said.

"Oh shut up kuya." Aya said and made a face to her brother.

"Your getting better." Allen said with a smile.

"I don't know if that's a good news or not" she said.

"It is of course." I reassured her.

For a week, we had the best overnight together. We sat together playing music together, or I would bring our favorite movies and watch it together, or sometimes we just held each other hands, while we talk and fell asleep.

It was the best overnight of my life. I realized that when you love someone, being with them is enough reason to be happy.

"Can we talk outside?" Kuya Allen told me.

"Why you need to talk to him outside?"aya demanded.

"Because I said so." He said. And aya rolled her eyes, that made me smile.

We went outside.

"I have good news and bad news, which one do you want to hear first?" Kuya Allen said.

"Good news"

"Aya's vitals are good. She can probably go back home next week." He said.

"And the bad news is?"

"I already said the bad news as well."

Then, I got what he meant, she's going back home.

"Well, it's not such a bad idea." I told him, he looked at me as if testing my sanity.

"I don't know if your slow or what, so you understand what I meant when I say..."

"I wanted to meet your parents as well. To formally court aya, and make everything official."

He almost threw up the coffee he was drinking, after he heard what I was saying.

"Well, I guess your not slow. Your probably crazy." He told me.

"Maybe" I said with a smile.

He took a deep breath.

"You better be worth this much headache." He told me.

Then, his phone rang.

"Hey."

"Do you mind giving me back my boyfriend!?" I heard the girl said.

"Clingy" he said, and passed me his phone.

"Hello?" I said, smiling.

"How many minutes do you guys plan to stay there, FYI. I can still hear you." She said.

"Coming, my queen" I said, and stood up.

"I'm warning you. You don't know what your going against with, Kuya Lee is a nice guy, but... With our bunso..."

"He's blinded by his over protective big brother love"

"That goes for all of us." I said.

I stood up, walked inside her room.
Scoop beside her in her bed, she automatically embraced me.

"What are we gonna do?" She asked.

"First, I'll go to your house, and introduce myself" I said.

"Your lucky if you were given the chance to say a word" she said and sighed.

"I have you, we can do this together." I said, and kissed her forehead.

"Aya." I said.

"Yes?"

"I'm sorry"

"Why do you keep on apologizing. Stop it." She said annoyed.

"If I wasn't as selfish as I am, you won't be hurt. I would be able to let you go, for your own sake"

"I am thankful your selfish, if that's the case." She said.

I embraced her. If she knew the truth about who I was, who I am... I don't know if she would still feel the same.

"My queen, your too innocent for your own sake." I whispered, and kissed her forehead.

"What did you say?" She asked.

"I said, take some rest my love. We have a big week ahead of us." I lied.

She closed her eyes, and start to fall into deep sleep.

I looked at her face again.

And then, I cast a little prayer.

"God, thank you for saving her. I'm sorry to be selfish, but I love her too much."
