Everyone seemed to be too happy I got out of the hospital, and I am really touched to have them in my life, but it made it so hard to contact King on situations like this.
After we got back from the hospital, my family has prepared a simple celebration of me going out of the hospital, and when I say simple - it meant more or less 100 guests. My mom loved inviting people over for simple parties at home, and they would find all the reason, in order for to have a party.
"What's happening?" I asked them.
"Mom, invited them to celebrate you going out of the hospital..." Kuya Allen explained.
"Why?" I said incredulous at the amount of people I had to greet and say thank you to.
"Is this even safe? I just got out of the hospital, I need to rest right?" I said.
"If you say so" Allen whispered.
Mom pulled me near the center of the celebration, she took the microphone while my other siblings lined up near us. All of them were smiling - it was annoying. They knew how uncomfortable I am with crowds.
"Hello everyone, we would like to thank everyone of you for joining our simple celebration of our daughter's improving health. To be completely honest, I am heartbroken to see her in the hospital alone, but - rules are rules. Our whole family's thankful, that she's with us now."
She gave me the microphone. i looked horrified.
"Mom... "
"Say something my dear" she looked at me. I give up.
"Uhm. Thank you all for being here, I hope you all have a good time. I just got back to the hospital, and i'm still a little tired, but have fun. Our family, is really grateful for your presence" I said and smiled.
Everyone in our family looked at me shocked, I smiled.
"Mom - Dad, I'm really tired, thank you for the party." I said, and slowly went back to my room.
"I'll accompany her going to her room" Kuya Allen said.
"I'll ---" Kuya Lee said.
"No need kuya, it's okay. I know you still have to entertain our guest. I'll be fine" I said, while Kuya Lee looked at me shocked and Kuya Allen walked me going to my room.
He pat my head with his hand.
"You're a big girl now" he said.
"What are you talking about?" I asked him.
"You know how to get away with situations now, your more honest with what you want" he said.
"I guess so. Is it bad?" I said.
"Well, they were surprised - most specially Kuya Lee. Why are you avoiding him?" he said and smiled.
"I'm afraid that if he tried to separate me and King, I'm afraid that I have a reason to hate him." I said.
"the eldest vs the youngest. Who do you think would win?" he joked.
"Can anyone win in this situation?" I said sadly. I kissed Kuya Allen goodnight, and went inside my room.
I dialed for King's number.
"Hello King?" I said, but it was too loud, I could not hear him properly.
"King, where are you?" I asked him.
"I'm just grabbing some drinks with an old friend" he said. Is he fucking serious? He went out without me, I guess he's to depress to go to party. Jerk. I said in my mind.
"hmmm. Why is it so loud there?" I pry.
"we're at the bar right now" he said.
"we?" I asked.
"me and my old friend only." He replied. He's never mentioned about any friends...
"are you seriously not gonna tell me the whole story?" I said. None of his answer make sense, he's obviously hiding something from me.
"hey, why are you getting mad?" He asked.
I could not answer quickly. Am I mad? Why??? Am I... I shook off my head.
I am not jealous, I said in my head repeatedly.
"nevermind. Have fun, I guess. Bye." Eventually i said, and cut the call.
He tried calling, but I wasn't in the mood to talk.
"Aya, why did you hang up on me?" He asked me, after answering his call again.
"Well, I don't want to bother you on your fun there" I told him.
"Hey, why are you getting mad? Am I not allowed to go out with friends?" He said.
Oh men. Why are you guys so stupid. I took a deep breath.
"It's nothing, have fun. Bye" I said and hang up again.
He tried calling her again, but I'm too mad to pick up.
He's obviously enjoying himself there while I am here in my room, missing him too much.
Oh how pathetic.
A knock on my door, startled me, as I open it, a familiar face greeted me.
"Dilan..." I said.
"Can we talk?" He said.
"I'm tired... " I told him, and I saw his face saddened again.
"Its okay, maybe next time. Good night bae" he said, turned his back at me.
"Dilan, why are you doing this to your self?" I told him.
"Its not worth it." I told him.
He smiled at me. "Your all I got, bae. That's worth my everything" he said and left.
