"We have a war on our hands." Lord Third paced around in front of the wide group of shinobi.
"The conflict turned into an unprecedented war of attrition, tormenting all nations with a shortage of war potential. Not even excluding a great power like Konoha, very young children, some of whom were barely out of the Academy were thrown onto the battlefield, ultimately losing their young lives in battle. This team will be sent to the front lines. Soon enough, we'll send reinforcements, so guard the village first."

Y/N scanned the area and failed to locate her team. She believed their differences in abilities and power had caused them to be divided.
Jumping quickly through the forest on their way to the location the captain of her group signaled them to a stop. Y/N perched up on a branch above her superior and awaited their command.
"I sense the enemy ahead, they must've figured this was the route we're taking."
Behind her mask, Y/N activated her sharingan and scanned the trees ahead.
"There's three of them," her eyes twitched. "Four. They've set multiple traps, easy ones though."
It's like the Stone Village doesn't even try.
She rolled her eyes. Their commander raised their hand and signaled three to go forth on three of the shinobi ahead while the rest took on the last one.
Y/N, Fox, and Horse dust their hands off and tie their individuals to a tree.
"I thought we were killing them?" She asked disappointedly.
Fox shook his head, "No, Commander Heren needs them for interrogation."
"Why not just kill them and leave one alive?"
Horse agreed, "If only we could do that but they're very keen on not killing even if they're the enemy in this war."
"That's strange, it's a war we're bound to have to kill someone soon."
Fox nodded, "While that may be true, they don't want us to kill unless we absolutely have to but even then they'd rather we try to avoid it."
"Hm, whatever the commander says goes I guess."
"Let's get going now. We need to make it out of the trees, there's a plain field just up ahead."

The once dispersed group reunites on the battlefield each aligned with the opposing ninja.
"Commander, we await your orders!"
"Now! Go Go GO!"
Y/N raced ahead with kunai in hand as she engaged in a fight against the shinobi she aligned with. The two face each other in a gruesome matter. The male was on par with her in strength. She struggled against him as he used different taijutsu moves on her. She dodged as best as she could.
