It was Halloween, and the moon hung low, casting eerie shadows over the desolate village of Amegakure. Inside the Akatsuki hideout, Y/N was gearing up for a night of mischief with the notorious organization. Clad in a makeshift vampire costume, complete with a cape and exaggerated fangs, Y/N couldn't help but chuckle at the thought of how the Akatsuki would handle the spooky festivities.
"Alright, team!" Y/N called, gathering the members in the living room, which was adorned with cobwebs and orange lights. "Tonight, we're going trick-or-treating!"
Kisame, dressed as a shark because of course he was, grinned, showing off his sharp teeth. "Trick-or-treating? Do we even know what 'treats' are?"
"It's candy, you big fish," Deidara chimed in, dressed as a pumpkin. "And it's a perfect way to gather intel. Who doesn't trust someone in costume?"
Hidan, sporting a deidara cosplay chimes in, "Trick-or-treat!"
Deidara screeched. "Why are you dressed like that?!"
"Because it's my costume!" Hidan smirked. "All you gotta do is go to the costume store and say 'make me look stupid!'" He posed with his hands out, adorning temporary mouth tattoos on his palms.
"Don't stand like that!" "But that's how you stand!-" "That's not how I stand!-" "No! This is exactly how you look!"

As they headed out into the village, the Akatsuki members had an odd assortment of costumes. Itachi was a doctor with a cloak that made him look even more brooding than usual.
"You never told me you wanted to be a doctor, what are you gonna specialize in?" Y/N smiled.
Itachi turned to her with a smirk, "Abortion."

Tobi wore a bright yellow duck costume that clashed horrendously with the rest of the group.
"Why are you a duck?" Y/N laughed.
"Quack!" Tobi replied, flapping his arms and causing Hidan to grumble under his breath.
The group wandered from house to house, receiving a mix of terrified looks and bewildered candy-givers. Sasori, in a puppet costume that was far too lifelike, managed to terrify a few children into giving him their candy. "It's an art," he said, smirking.
After collecting a massive haul of candy, the gang returned to the hideout, where they decided to raid the alcohol stash. A table was soon filled with snacks, drinks, and an assortment of candy that would make any dentist weep.
